Let's talk about why women should be allowed into the most elite military force in the Imperium.
Also, post female Space Marines.

>mfw the guys have bigger pecs
I used to be so against this and now honestly I just feel they should do it. Who really gives a fuck?
The fluff reason is just that, fluff. It's less significant of a change than many changes they've already made. The only thing would be the expense of new models I guess.

As a imperial guardsman, are you allowed to marry a sister of battle?
>>53746905
Allowed?
Yes.
Is anyone stupid enough to try?
No, because either they're sane enough to grasp that batshit insane nuns make for terrible wives that will kill you for heresy if you ask them out on a date, or they themselves are batshit insane religious fanatics and as such they have a lot of work to do first by killing a lot of not imperial enough things and might view them as competition.
Depends. Are you the Emperor?
>>53746961
>Allowed?
>Yes.
This is not correct. They're nuns in the Catholic model. The only person they can be "bride" to is presumably Big E, like Catholic nuns and Jesus.
You can't marry an SoB. Not gonna comment on whether they're celibate or not - IMO, if Marines are they are.

How would sigmar have done as God Emperor of mankind? Assuming he had access to the same resources and knowledge the emperor did, would he have been a better ruler? How would he have treated the primarchs? What about xenos?
>Implying they aren't the same
>>53746388
They very obviously aren't, and they act nothing alike. For one, sigmar isn't an autistic douche
>>53746198
the main differences between sigmar and the emperor is that the first has actually been a normal man before making himself a god and becoming an union of various souls and that his plans have been made in concert with other influential people instead of sheltering away from them.
mind you being open to treacherous people did fuck him in the end, but his own heresy would have played out differently.

I am building a setting I want to use in the future that has a medieval feel to it while being set in the future where mankind has endured a crisis and now has returned to a medieval way of thinking. So things like power armor and guns exist yet most governments are a decentralized feudal society and religion holds as much power as it did in days of old.
My question is which system is best suited to a medieval setting and a slightly futuristic one.
Post futuristic knights.

Any love for Palladium games here? The games themselves, I mean, not the owners or players.
>Rifts

>Heroes Unlimited
>Ninjas & Superspies
>TMNT
>Robotech
>etc.
>>53736261
I briefly played in a Heroes Unlimited game. It's interesting, but also feels like the clusterfuck the system's history would imply.
With a better GM it would have been a lot of fun.
I've heard great things about TMNT (and just seeing the covers of some of its supplements makes me believe pretty much all of 'em).
I skimmed a bit of Ninjas and Superspies and I like the spy agency management mechanics.
>>53736402
The parts written by Erick Wujcik (RIP) were pretty damn solid. N&SS and ATB were among them.
I always thought the After the Bomb mutant animal creation rules were the best in gaming. Balanced powers with anthropomorphic advantages real well.
>>53736402

How viable is it to have the entire party be of the same class?
Depends on the game.
In Legends of the Wulin it can work fine. You might lack some of the depth of Secret Art options, but there's plenty of other things to create variety between the characters.
>>53733328
It depends on the class and game. Fluffwise I would say it's always viable. Even in systems with a very low level of in-class variety the personalities of the characters can be totally different, and even if the abilities all stack up the same they can be using different weapons and armor etc.
It's hardest in class sytems where class diversity is assumed in how the game is balanced.
