If even 10% of the agriworlds had to fend off ork invasions every other week, the entirety of the Imperium would starve. If 1/4 of the forge worlds were beset by legions of chaos twice a year, it would be impossible to keep the Imperial armies supplied. Understand this: Are not the most common type of Sisters. 40k is a military game and thus we see the Military way more.
Some of the most common are medics, scholars, and other misc stuff.

Do you think a Hospitaller is really all that dick-hating? No, she isn't. She may be called up to random sectors to treat plagues, wounds, etc...but she's available.

Now a battle sister? Sisters are not really a mobile force. They stay on convent worlds and outposts for the most part. The most traveled Sisters are those who support black ships, but most stay in place. This means, potentially, you could have a fairly stable situation with someone in the sisterhood.

There are, however, many sisters who are hardasses. You aren't fucking the vets, mostly just the novices.

That being said, I doubt you'd get anything more than a simple relationship and 'marriage' it not touched on much in 40k.

At some point, I think the damage would just be too extensive for prosthetics to make them battle-functional. If there wasn't, there would be no need for dreadnaughts (marines supposedly having the absolute best equipment in the Imperium would also lend them the best prosthetics). Because dreadnaughts exist, we can assume that there's a point where it is no longer functional for the soldier to get prosthetics. At that point, they would let the soldier die, but if they didn't, they would arrange for some sort of retirement for them. In the case of SoB, an arranged marriage would be a likely choice.

I'd imagine it depends entirely on the specific order, just like how space marines tend to have widely different policies on these sort of things. One particular bit of fluff that I'm fond of is that Salamanders actually remain in contact, and are allowed to return to their families after they turn into marines, and sometimes serve as clan leaders on Nocturne when they don't have to attend to matters in their monastery.

I'm sure some orders would view any sort of sex as some twisted perversion of Slaanesh, whereas others embrace it as part of the holy human form, provided it isn't practiced to excess and pour over into Slaanesh territory. Furthermore, there'd probably be orders that embrace marriage as an important part of the growth and spread of humanity.
