A - No. We recognize that spreading out our efforts is what originally killed the project. Accordingly, we're focusing on just one thing at a time and finishing them out.

A - It generally comes down to what people like. Propose the idea and see if others want it.

A - Nope. Though proposals have been made, nothing concrete has been created.

You rub the sleep out of your eyes, as you're shaken awake. Karlo's face is indistinct in the gloom, but he looks young, far too young for what you're about to do. Then again, you're too damn young as well.
"Come on, rise and shine." He smiles nervously and passes you your weapon. Clouds skate across a pale moon outside, casting the streets into deep shadows. The gas-lighters haven't been on their rounds since the invasion and the Federation troops have only rigged those fancy electric lights around their bases. That's just perfect for people like yourselves; people who aren't content to just bow down; people who want to strike back.
The biting night air of early spring is more of a wakeup to your system than any amount of coffee or a hot breakfast, if no-where near as welcome. You and your small group skirt past the checkpoints that dot the main roads, keeping to the backstreets you've known for all your lives, but are still unfamiliar to the occupiers. It's only been a matter of weeks since the premier signed the humiliating treaty of capitulation, but already the rats are making themselves at home in your city. You, Carlo and the other three in your group flatten yourselves against the wall and crouch behind unemptied trash cans as a patrol stalks past, their boots clicking against the cobble stones and a small bulls-eye paraffin lamp lighting their way. Next to the rifles slung over their shoulders, you're all pitifully poorly armed, but that's nothing new.

Limit the number of interactions with canon characters or canon organizations on a serious level. If the interactions are minimal, I consider that acceptable.
For example, being a low level researcher in the Simic Combine or seeking to pit its wits against those of Nicol Bolas is a-okay for a snowflake, while being the second-in-command of the Rakdos Cult or genuinely meeting Nicol Bolas *and* defeating him in a battle of wits are big no-nos. So you pull it off reasonably well.
There's the issue of certain variations of races not being able to have sparks. For example, I'm not sure if Rabiah's efreets are born or whether they're created or simply a part of world like elementals or avatars. It's something that we just don't know about. Normally, the two rules of thumb for whether something should have a spark is that it should have been born at some point and it should have been born as a sapient creature.

Humanity was crushed by the Fleet of Fog, and can't risk losing the firepower they still have left.

Stage 121: Heart and Mind are the Same Thing.
Sending Yuuhi-chan to join your family at their early supper, you walk silently to where your priestess prays alone. At least, she ~looks~ like she's praying; truth be told she may just be sitting and trying not to think of what she may have done.
The Temple of Ryujin Owatatsumi on Mikimoto Pearl Island is dark when the doors are closed. There are some vents near the ceiling for air circulation, but they don't let that much light in because of the overhang of the roof. As a result, the many candles here are what gives the room a warm, golden glow which is emphasized by the dark wood the building is constructed from and the lighter paneling on the inside. Most spirit children have better eyesight than humans, and you can see in the dark entirely, while Yui-chan's eyes literally glow, so it's not like truly dark in here.
Yet looking at Kiku-chan, you get the sense she would be perfectly at home in a dark room, curled up on a bed and hugging her knees.
It really is understandable. If you understood the point of her sending you to meet your blood-relative Ryuu Nabiki, it was to understand what dealing with powerful, dangerous youkai could do to a person. It almost entirely destroyed Nabiki; she was shell of her former self inhabited by a living, breathing curse that was the youkai of Aokigahara. You brought Nabiki back to life – to existence – by sacrificing A Wish-Granting Jewel, a true relic of the heavens which rebuilt her pearl and granted her the birthright she'd been robbed of. You're pretty sure that wasn't what was supposed to happen, but they say demigods can change reality and alter fate so you put it to the test.
Test so far successful, but that doesn't mean that Kiku-chan is going to simply be relieved right away. It was an exceptionally dangerous thing to do; without the immortality your wife assisted you in achieving, you would be dead right now.
That thought brings you up short.

It is easy to casually dismiss your mortality now, because you've survived so often. But you're not unkillable; both Inau-kun and Er Yin sensei have made very certain you understand how easy it is to kill you under certain circumstances, and a lot of those are easily achieved in the fights you get into. In this case, specifically if you had failed to grant your sister her rebirth, you would be dead – truly, irrevocably dead, because all it would have taken is the youkai devouring your body to render you dead.
You may have to be a lot more careful about such things in the future.
Sobered by your recognition of the mortality you do still have, you approach your priestess. You're right, she isn't exactly praying. Her fists are clenched on her thighs as she sits seiza, and she gritting her teeth hard, eyes tightly shut though you don't think she's crying. Her blood is hot, though not quite boiling. It's pretty obvious she's already told the others she wishes to be alone, but you're not just anybody. It's also very unlikely that Er Yin told her anything, which you're half appreciative of. You think.

Mage 2e was released to Beast's backers who selected that tier, as well as playtesters. The rest of us who want to purchase it properly will be salivating for the next 20-something hours, and then hardcopies will take about another month. Given /tg/s infamous hatred for all things Black Library, I think I can guess what people think.
Normally, I would disagree, but this series. Just wow. The number of off-the-wall "they did WHAT?!" moments I am having reading this is just crazy.
It's at a point were I just have to treat it like some kind of 40k based "alternate history fiction", because the stuff can't be canon, it's just too out there.
I don't think it's written badly, just the kind of things they are doing are crazy.

UR Twin and WR Blood Tax
The twin list is essentially what happens if you put Brainstorm, Wasteland, Force of Will, Ponder, Jace and Counterspell in the UR Twin shell. It's fun. Promise. You can kill someone with Pestermite+Jitte!
WR Taxes is Death & Taxes that eschews Karakas+Mangara hijinks for Spirit Guide and Blood Moon to gotcha Eldrazi Stompy, which is a large part of my shop meta. Considering switching to Imperial Taxes, but not convinced as it requires City of Traitors and is weaker to creature removal than Blood Tax.
I hope they fill EMA with Craw Wurms.
