I understand how you feel OP, this is lame generic advice, I know, but most parents really are just people. JUST people, they are NOT good people for doing what fucking animals can do, they are not selfless for feeding and clothing you, and plenty of parents wouldn't do those things if there weren't laws to force them. They are just people who happen to be really stupid and self centered and had you so they could feel like they reached a milestone in their lives at a time that is conventionally appropriate. To them it was better not to die childless than have a firm grasp on how the world works. Who cares since they're passing the torch along to you when it gets old for them right? All you can do is learn from their mistakes and don't HAVE kids if you are not and never going to be mentally well-adjusted. It's WORTH the extinction of the species if over 50% of people are literally unable to function in an automated, post-industrial, society.

My dog died yesterday, she was 16 years old. Her death was pretty shitty since she just sat in the floor agonizing and crying and I was calling the vet but she came too late.

She was having trouble breathing, I'm not sure if it was a heart attack or something else she was super old for her race.

In her last months she was having trouble seeing things I kinda had to always bring her next to her food else she wouldn't eat.
