Any thoughts on the 2016 Nissan Juke Nismo RS?
I've currently got a 2010 Xterra that is giving me problems and I want to trade it in, been looking at the Juke and saw they have a Nismo RS turbo charge for right about the price range I'm happy with. My local nissan dealer also offers a lifetime powertrain warranty that is valid at any A.S.E shop, not just their dealer.
Curious how the car is itself? Obviously it'll be quick and zippy, that's the point of it. Any interesting quirks or flaws? For instance: My Xterra has a really godawful fogging issue with regards to the defogging vents, and the sunglasses holder pocket latch breaks a ton and keeps falling, has to be taped. Or like the Chevy Sonic passenger side C post makes for a really shitty blind spot that you wouldn't notice until you were out driving.
Anything of the sort people know about the Juke? Or maybe anything good to say about it as well?

Honestly why the juke?
get something like a fiesta st or focus st
>>15726883
Not a fan of the smaller size cars. I have a dog that I carry around a lot, as well as a bunch of fishing equipment. It looks like if I drop the rear seats, the Juke has a nice amount of cargo space

>a lifetime powertrain warranty
Verify what is in the warranty. Sometime things like turbos and water pumps are not in.
How stupid is it to get an RX-7 as your first car (already knowing how to drive, of course)? Particularly a n/a first gen so no worrying about tarbo doritos.
I know rotaries have a bunch of nonstandard maintenance (always let it warm up and cool down, don't turn it off too quick and flood the engine, rev the balls off it so it doesn't get carbon buildups, check your oil every fill-up), but I'm a NEET (for the time being) who has no significant other, friends, or need for tons of cargo space and want to join the weird triangle people.
n/a rotaries are god-tier reliable
don't fall for memes
>>15726756
Good to learn on if you like rotaries. Learn your limits before you go doing stupid shit. It's not gonna be fast in a straight line n/a, will handle ok but it is old so not the best. If it's what you want though get it, do your research on them first and decide if it's for you.
Rotaries are cool and if you have the space to work on it and can collect a tool kit you'll enjoy it.

My first car was an 86 FC.
Drove it for 7 years withot issue over 200k miles.
Why don't you get a matte paint job for your car?
i already painted the trim in camo paint. thats enough
The sun did it for me.
>>15726680
Because a matte paint job is for a lazy piece of shit who can't take care of his paint's shine properly
Why do you people like cars? Do you have no lives?
>>15726602
Why are you asking inane questions, Do you have no life?
>>15726602
It's a special kind of autism where you're more comfortable behind the wheel than on your own two feet.
>>15726602
>I spend my freetime going on auto-boards to tell them that cars are for loosers
looks like someone just dropped $15 on a value-pack of bus passes
Had a guy roll into my jetta sport econobox today....
Had about 4 feet between me and him, he started rocking back and forth anticipating the green light but I guess misjudged it. Randomly he just rolls back into me..... About 4 feet distance.
He goes "I didnt see you", yeah OK GUY whatever, you didnt see my tornado red jetta with bright AF LED DRLs?
Get off my road if you are that blind Jesus.
The metal above the wheel well is pinched a bit, that entire panel and the bumper will have to be replaced/repainted.
Then the guy scoffs at me when I called the sheriffs office to get an accident report... really guy? This could be $2K worth of damage....
Accident thread I guess.
How is this 2,000 dollars worth of damage? I recently lost control of my Lexus in the rain and wrecked surprisingly did way worse than you and so far I've spent 500$ at most. I may have 300-500 more to spend but you're just being a bitch. Your car is fucking fine.
>>15726603
Not op
Are you doing the work yourself labor is ridiculously expensive
>>15726603
>your car is fine, just eat the damages and forget it ever happened
Sup, cuck?
>spend 2 solid months driving on gravel roads
>sweet doughnuts, drifts etc
>never wash car during
>even armchair car enthusiast on /o/ tells me I'll get stone chips from gravel
>wash car today finally
>not a single stone chip
When did you realise atleast 75% of /o/ are bus riders?
>>15726540
>every* armchair car enthusiast on /o/
>>15726540
Yes because pitting happens in a day and not constantly over time you humongous cock slurper.
Stick to saving girl pics on instagram and jacking off to anime.
>>15726561
You mad because I got to have fun on gravel? You are probably the kind of faggot who swerves to avoid puddles the size of a dinner plate.
I literally just wanted to post my coworker's GTR.
CORVETTE BTFO!!!!!
Just got my license
are there any tips/tricks/secrets to parallel parking?
I haven't done it yet
Don’t crash
>>15726368
This is probably good advice.
>>15726360
>Pull along side the car infrint of the spot you want to go into
>start reversing when you are lined up with their backpannel start to crank it
>get you back tore to touch the curb where you want it to stop.
>pull forward and bring the front end in.
Youll get the concept over time and this is the easiest way to learn to parallel park. After getting good at it you wont need the curb.
What do you think the next desirable car that will start to gain value is?
My bet's on the second gen eclipse gsx who survived the 00s fnf era
>>15726326
But those are ugly and mostly FWD
>>15726326
Acura rsx
>>15726326
Any g35 that is manual. Modern day 240sx
What car is this?
trash
>>15726306
Some kinda weird dodge stratus
What was /o/'s first car?
>>15726188
burned oil like a bitch but never let me down once in 4 years
>>15726220
Don't have any pics, but mine was a corolla too. 89 SR5. However that one let me down like every other day.
Had some junk cars to drive around at home, but this was the first after getting a license.
Is it true that Ferrarifags check their closets for the Ford GT before their mothers tuck them in bed every night?
What's so special about this besides the ecoboost meme
just like gm fangirls check their closets for the GT-R Nismo
>>15726182
YOU CAN LITERALLY SEE THROUGH THE CAR
So I hit one of these fuckers. I drove a lemon, so they totaled it and are giving me $2,500 for it.
Any suggestions? Maybe around the 5k range?
>>15726105
>Any suggestions? Maybe around the 5k range?
Literally the Sticky. The sticky operates on a 5k budget, and the used market in America hasn't changed much since it was made 2 years ago.
>>15726105
Shut up and buy a civic for 3k.
>>15726105
Miata.
>there are human beings in this world who willingly choose to spend hundreds thousands tens of thousands of dollars on a YELLOW automobile
What on God's beautiful Earth would cause a person to do this?
>What on God's beautiful Earth would cause a person to do this?
good taste
Yellow is dope tho
>>15726048
>not liking yellow cars
shit taste
you probably like green cars
Picking up one of these niggers tomorrow, what am I in for, apart from memes?
>>15726012
A good car.
Congrats
>>15726012
Difficult to reach engine components, unconventional driving habits needed for mid-rear chassis setup. Nice car, careful with the brakes mid turn.
>>15726012
A fun car that will kill you if you don't understand the physics of driving it at the limit or mid turn.
Brotip: don't brake or let off the gas sharply mid turn. Slow down before entering a turn.
