Alright guys i start my new job as a GM Tech next month back home! I just finished up 2 years at NEIT and am excited to start my journey on this new road.

One thing though, I need to order tools to keep at the dealership. Through the school I have a $5K limit and can be paid off over 2 years and everything is 50% off! So that means I have the option to order $10K worth of tools (with tax) at the cost of $5K and can pay it. off over 2 years.

My wuestions for any other techs on here, what set would you suggest I buy for an entry level position that contain almost everything I need???

Ordering these on Thursday! EXCITED!!!

I found a Blue 2005 WRX wagon for sale near me with 250k body miles, and an engine with 50k-60k miles on it from a small dealer that deals only in Subarus. The body inside and out is in pretty good condition, and the engine has low miles. The dealer is asking about $7000 for it. Is this a fair price? Anything I should look out for?

hello /o/,

ricerfag here. I have a question and sort of in need of your opinions.

I drive an 8th gen civic si. It's great and all, put around 10k on the clock.

However, I want to start to modify and an older EG hatch has caught my attention.

Should I sell the 8th gen to buy the older hatch and build it up, or stick with the 8th gen and leave stock?

What is /o/'s thoughts on wheel camber, from my understanding a little bit can help you round corners better, but a lot of it and its useless and ruins your tires 4x as fast.

The OP pic is dumb. There are configurations where a mild amount of camber and toe is appropriate and helpful. The OP pic is a example of a broken and poorly functioning car. It is a demonstration of how a car should not perform.

To be clear: this is not opinion, the car is broken and does not operate correctly. Is is a fact.
