I thought I would share some of my favorite details of the red RSX that we recently completed. This car was a compilation of some of the most talented people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. As of today this was the most involved customer project Jeff and I have ever taken on. I hope this post doesn’t come off conceited or pretentious, I simply want to share some of the things that may go unnoticed if you were to ever run into the car.
1. The car leaving our shop after three years.
2. The Mugen dive planes/canards. These are fairly rare pieces. They don’t carry a Mugen part number & were intended for the Taiyuku teams that used the Mugen Aero.
3. The backside of all of the panals are painted. We had to cut/splice the bumper & re-fiberglass it to mate up to the new widened fenders. This was fairly straight forward with the composite front bumper, but somewhat of a chore with the factory urethane rear bumper.
4. The lower body line. This was a portion of the job that was very important to me. I’ve noticed a lot of times when people do custom wide bodies the factory body lines are often forgotten. The RSX has a very unique lower body line that sort of looks like a horizontal canine tooth. This had to be recreated & exaggerated to accommodate the wider fenders.
5. Seam welded unibody. This was done in the Ford Motorsport style. One inch of weld, skip an inch & a half, one inch of weld.
This isn't your blog, your work is not noteworthy. Go eat a dick. Thanks.

I feel like the stance trend is getting so extreme that peoples wheels are going to be so wide it'll hit other cars and pedestrians lol
Stance is a trend for manchildren working as "software engineers" or "networks administration", always overpaid and underworked, they often have no sense of financial responsibility and are able to blow their paychecks on shitty mods without regret or remorse because they do fuck all at their job all day.
It'll be a warm fuzzy wakeup for these people when the Y2K technology boom fades and boomers in charge of these companies are replaced by people who don't think being a copy/paste codemonkey is some magical, mystical profession worthy of 100k/year salaries.

Considering purchasing a Smart Fortwo and placing a better engine in it later down the track. I wanna drift around my neighborhood in this tiny simplified rally car. Convince me otherwise.
In before someone says it'll flip: widen out the wheel span. ez
>>15724832
It'll fl... Oh
I'm not gonna try and convince you. You've already made your mind up. Just post pics when you do buy it senpai
>>15724832
It's like a worse mini somehow.
How many miles is a deal breaker?
One. What are you, a poorfag?
I bet you don't mind if you're the 10th guy to fuck a girl either.
10k
Miles are irrelevant, it's how autistic the previous owner was with maintenance.
Am I the only one who was told growing up to never spend money on a used vehicle with 100k+ miles? Is there truth to this,do cars go downhill quickly a that point regardless of maintenance?
I've purchased vehicles with 200k+.
Mileage shouldn't scare you. It's great for negotiating.
A lack of service records or even ballpark estimates of maintenance scares me.
>>15724489
Mileage is largely irrelevant when it comes to buying a used car as far as what condition it will be in and how long it will last.
Condition and history are much more important, a well maintained car that has spent its life doing long distance cruising will be a much better proposition than a low mileage one that has been neglected and thrashed around town.
>>15724496
this.
i recently purchased a 200k mile car. The records book was 1.5" thick. With many wearable parts replaced recently. The guy bought it in 1995 for 36,000 and he added up the maintenance costs over 21 years and that was 42,000.
he also owned an 70s 911s
The person you buy the car from is more important than the mileage of the car. One owner is best, and oddly enough in my experience it's best if they play soccer or have a visible net worth over a few million.
Why do some Manufactures go for low-displacement V8s instead of high-displacements like Mustang 5.0, Corvette 6.2L?
Example :
Ferrari 488 GTB 3.9L V8
Mclaren 650S 3.8L V8
Lower moving weight and shorter strokes = higher revs, also less bore makes less heat which further benefits higher revs, also lower weight overall for better handling. You're not gonna build a supercar with a ship anchor that can barely rev to 6k.
>>15724175
>ship anchor
>when an ls1 with a t56 weighs under 500lbs
The main reason is because Europe taxes heavily on displacement, op
>>15724191
Like anyone buying a Ferrari will give a shit. We're not talking about highschooler's first performance car here.
