So I got a really good adult job that actually has something to do with my bullshit degree that pays 100000x better than a fucking gas station job but my commute is 45 minutes and my 80s shitbox isn't going to cut it.
So I got something more modern and reliable.
I got a 2005 Honda accord EX with the 5 speed el manuel trans.

Whatever, that was my blog part. Now here's the question.
I've never owned a car with ABS. I am way more comfortable keeping the brakes from locking with my feet. But what I've been told is im not supposed to pulsate the brakes with ABS because it will "confuse it".
Am I really supposed to just mash the brakes into the floor in an emergency and trust the computer to handle my unwanted skids?
That just does not sound right at all.
Am I better off just disabling it and driving it like my 80s shitbox?

Installing a voltmeter.
Hooked up to the radio harness accessory wire and ground.
It always reads like 1 to 2 volts off. I tested the voltmeter itself with another voltmeter and it is reading the power correctly from the acc wire.
The voltmeter shows about 13.2v while running but the battery is giving off 14.4v while running.
what am i doing wrong?

Dude 14 or so volts is normal, that's the alternator giving out that voltage to charge the battery. Almost any car will show 14+ Volts while running if the battery is good.

But showing a full volt less on the installed gauge in the car.
