Where were you when nissan started making a decent car again?

The new Sentra SR Turbo
>188hp juke engine

Now if only they can give it a multilink rear suspension and get rid of the shitty modern car design.

ugh.

Help me /o/, I've been researching for months with no avail. I'm looking for an daily driver (preferably AWD and/or manual). Problem is, I'm quite tall, 6'6, and my torso is long. Too tall for many cars. List I've tried:
Focus RS
Subaru WRX
Fusion Sport
Taurus SHO
Focus ST

Any ideas?

I just put new tires on my Explorer, but I will not be driving it at all for a year.

It's usually stored in my garage.

Any tips to prevent tire rot/flat spots while the tires are still on it in my garage?

Alright, so this local funeral home near me has had one of their old 80s coaches sitting outside for the past few weeks. I'm pretty sure it's been out of service for quite some time and I'm thinking about making an offer on it. How difficult is it to get insurance on a used hearse? I've heard it can be difficult or expensive.

Why would insurance be more expensive on out of service hearses than on any other car?

so far my girl has encountered like 4 different insurance companies in the area that won't even cover the cars. i have no idea why. i even told her to mention they wouldn't be used for business, just for personal driving but they still denied her

It has 4 wheels.
2 front seats.
1 steering wheel.
2 mirrors on the outside, 1 on the inside.
1 engine.
2 number plates, one on the front and one on the back.

You're welcome, I'll send you the bill for my services later.
>>
>>15793525
P.S. - Perhaps it has a spare wheel somewhere.

Just getting back to you to tell you this, I only deliver top quality services.

It'll cost you extra though, the additional costs will be send together with the main bill.

How difficult is exhaust work? If I were wanting to install a tail pipes to replace a missing one on an 83 power ram

It's probably one of the easiest things someone can do. You're literally attaching a piece of metal to the outside of the car. The only difficult part is accessing the underside of the car so it will help to have a lift. Other than that, an impact driver will make it easier but it's not necessary. Make sure your use red threadlocker on everything and torque to 420 ft/lb or you risk the exhaust system falling off and getting caught in your drive chain

Hey UK autists, I need your help

My first and only car is a 2002 Vauxhall Corsa. It was 10 years old & had 80k on the clock when I bought it and I paid £1,200. It's pretty shite to drive but I haven't had a single fault with the thing over the past four years, so that's something.

For various reasons, I now need to get a new car. Unfortunately I earn next to nothing and I'm a tight bastard, so I am actually looking for a car that's cheaper to insure (group 1 or 2), tax and run than my current car. I don't mind paying extra up front to get a car that will save me money long term.

Pic related - I think the newer Smart car looks lovely, but it's probably out of my price range. I could stretch to that on finance but I highly doubt it's worth it.

Thanks in advance lads

VW UP, Toyota aygo

how much money are you on and where
>>
>>15793192
I'm on 18k in Essex, but due a raise soon (yeah right)

VW UP looks like a decent buy. I've heard the Aygo had some reliability issues though? With water leaking and stuff.

Also, what do you think about getting little cars like these in automatic? i've never driven an auto but it seems like it would be nice because I'm a lazy cunt desu. Just worried about not being able to downshift quickly when I need torque
>>

Red on a hatch is sexy af Edition

A thread to discuss about Econo-Pocket-Rockets. Regular hatches are welcome too.

>hatchback Q & A
>post your pocket-rockets
>your adventures with it
>your problems with it
>what have you fixed recently?
>what upgrades do you plan in it?
>post anything hatchbacks

>What is a "Hot Hatch"?
A Hot Hatch is a manufacturer produced, performance oriented variant of a standard hatchback, designed for improved handling, increased top speed, acceleration and generally enhance the driving experience.

>Are all Hot Hatches FWD?
No. Whilst most Hot Hatches are FWD, some are AWD or even RWD.

>Isn't FWD shit?
No. Just because you can't get the arse out by stamping on the accelerator doesn't mean you can't have fun.

>Aren't Hot Hatches just for Europoors?
No, with the launch of the Fiesta and Focus ST in the US, it seems like the Hot Hatch is beginning to take off on the other side of the Atlantic, but Europoors definitely have more choice.

>Is the Fiesta ST actually good?
The Fiesta ST is one of the best small hot hatches on offer at the minute; so yeah they're pretty good.

I have a problem, my car is parked on an incline with the front down and I need to raise the rear wheels up but my problem is that it's RWD ergo, the ebrake is on the rear wheels.

Thus far, I've used everything from 2x4s to wheel chocks on the front wheels but any attempt to raise the rear, the jack keeps sliding off.

How can I raise the rear on an incline? will these wheel locks actually hold my car in place if I put 2 on the front wheels?

I can't turn on my car

>>
>>15792476
is there anywhere you can roll it? jacking on an incline is incredibly unsafe and you shouldn't be under it jackstands or not.
>>
>>15792480

I can't roll it anywhere, the street ends in a cul de sac.

Everytime I jacked it slightly, the car would move forward and the jack would slide off.
>>
>>15792480
This OP, put it and neutral and find a mor elevel surface, if the incline is so steep that jacking it up with chokes on the wheels isnt suffecient, the incline is GAR too steep. Unsafe no matter what you do nigga. Because the weight is moving horizontally instead of vertically.
