>car related plans for the weekend
I have a old toolbox I got from my grandfather, I took everything out last night and I plan to make some cut outs for some it and then mix the tools I got from him with mine.
>Waifu
Waifu for Lifu.

Speak english properly.

>Because work night shift
Replace the clutch, get it smogged, and re-registered. Give is a good wash while I'm at it.
Apologies for noob question but just got my first 4wd car (wrx). Skid / oversteer situation what is the best way way to correct I've heard arguments for both letting off throttle and correction steering as in RWD and also pointing car in desired direction and accelerating. What should I be doing? Thanks
>>15789888
when in doubt, flat out.
>>15789888
>My first 4wd car
AWD. Not 4wd.
Lift and correct. Don't be a knob and think your magical AWD will give you all the traction you could ever need. It won't, it can't, especially if you're aquaplaning or on ice.
You're not driving on gravel/dirt right? Your best bet is to coast and not slam on the brakes if you have to use them. Be safe nigga, if you wanna learn to drift get a RWD because AWD teaches bad habits in situations that would otherwise cause an accident.
Are new Cadillacs good?
>are new cadillacs good
Not at turning, kek
>>15789687
>can't turn
>interior is typical GM nigger-tier with low quality materials and trash gloss plastics
>nigger tier car overall
although i hear they're pretty quick so take that as you will
>>15789726
Yeah but is there a car that doesn`t have plastic ? why is this ugly to you?
Which was the best snek?
Will they make a new snek ever again?
2nd gen > 4th gen > 3rd gen > 1st gen
>>15789308
First gen best gen.
Also RIP snek.
>>15789308
The 3rd one gets my heart.
They were supposed to be done with it in the early 2000's but here we are with new vipers. So there is a chance.
Is buying a car with a steel body the easiest way to let everyone know you're a massive retard?
>>15789165
Aluminium
>no rust
>lightweight
Steel
>rust
>heavy
Yep, buying a steel car is utterly dumb.
What car?
>>15789185
any steel-bodied car
What do you guys think about the Ford Probe? As I understand, all the mechanicals were designed by Mazda while Ford only designed the body and slapped their logo on it.
I appreciate both generations for their looks (muh popups) and am thinking about picking up this one near me. Thoughts?

V6 a gud
Just buy a real 240sx lmao
seems like a good deal
FUCKING LEAF
Multimatic Motorsport is the one building this car, contracted by Ford. The country responsible for the Bricklin SV-1 is building this V6 sportscar to compete against the Ferrari 488 GTB and Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4.

Is this why the car's production is way behind schedule?

Germany
All defeated, by a FUCKING LEAFmobile
>this is my country's greatest accomplishment
I hope it's really fast
Still couldn't beat a riced prius
hey guys,
My parents just bought me my first car, a 1999 Hyundai Accent 1.5. It's pretty fast but i want to go faster and look cooler. Is it possible to get the 0-60 time under 7 seconds? Also how much would it cost to get it to look like pic related?
>>15788674
Are you Indian?
>>15788674
>1999 Hyundai Accent 1.5
>It's pretty fast
>>15788677
no, mexican. why? are there aftermarket parts available here?
>have $3k
>need car
>parents will help me out if I find a good used car under $8k
>other option is buying new
what have any of you done in this situation? I don't have a regular, steady paycheck (bartender) so I don't know if I should saddle myself with the debt or just buy a <$5000 car (can't find a good used under 10).
>>15788146
dude read the sticky?
how can you not find a good used car under 10, but you can find 1 under 5. Why would you need to finance anything when you said your parents will help you out up to 8? R u retard OP? it is okay if you are, just tell us first.
Buy a well running econobox with scratched up paint for 2.5k and spend 200-300 bucks on basic car maintenence hand tools and a haynes manual. Do baseline maintenance on your days off. Have a decent daily driver that you don't have to worry about parking next to the buggy return. Problem solved.
>>15788154
because there are none within 100 miles of me. Everything is either overpriced or 7k for something with 150k miles already.
So I'm thinking about taking a look at a 95 5.0 Cobra that looks like it's in good condition and the price seems good, 6.5k.
The guys done some work on it:
Forged 331 stroker (35k~ miles since then)
Cam
Edelbrock throttle body
Fluidyne radiator
Long tube headers
Ram clutch
Eaton posi
31 spine axles
3.73 gears
frame connectors
aluminum driveshaft
I'm more familiar with the issues to look out for with the 3rd generation mustangs. What are common warning signs on 4th generation mustangs? Anything I should be leery of?
>>15787784
Bump for shitstang questions
>>15787784
A lot of built motors will give you ~35,000 miles before it needs a rebuild. Leakdown and compression test on the motor for sure. I bet he has some nice thick oil in it to keep it from smoking on start up. Or was it already warmed up when he started it for you?
>>15788122
I have not gone and looked at it yet. Mostly just wanting to have some information on what to look for before heading in. I've been primarily looking for fox bodies and just stumbled on this by chance.
Can someone id the car in the background??
>>15787577

>>15787577
Ford Falcon, most likely a FPV Boss by the looks of that shit spoiler and rear brake light, its also possibly broken down
>>15787577
Some kind of wierd Dodge Stratus?
Continuation of the previous thread. We've got 8 contributions so far.
We're singing Back on the Rocks by Mega NRG Man.
Link to song in HQ: http://finaldistance.net/mp3/repertoire/lossy/Mega%20NRG%20Man%20-%20Back%20On%20The%20Rocks.mp3
To make it easier for me to sync and mix everything together, sing with the song playing in your headphones instead of just reading lyrics.
Submit your entries to this Google Drive folder: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B6wJrWT-Vs_ySl9aM1Fsbk10TGc or post Vocaroo links in this thread. Google Drive preferred since quality on Vocaroo is pretty shit.
You can post pics of your cars if you want to be included in either a slideshow or a collage - but only if you actually contributed. Car sounds are also welcome.
If you want to, you can play an instrument. If there's enough players we're gonna have a 4chan's Got Talent version, with music replaced by whatever you play: kazoo, guitar, acordeon, whatever.
No deadline for uploads as of yet.
All contributions welcome. Except if you have a really shit mic. But it's worth a try.
Only 8? Fuck. Where's the rest?

I know o hates replicas but what about when they are made to the same be spoked specifications like the rcr 917?
Since when do we hate replicas?
>get experience of x car for cheaper and without potentially damaging a piece of history
>sometimes even an improvement over the original
Whats not to like?
>>15786290
/o/ hates testarossa kit cars on MR2 frames n shit
>>15786295
I figured o would hate having it like a fake limbo or something. False prestige and whatnot.
