neither... take advantage of the rare opportunity given to pick up something cool/ unusual while you're over there... and then once the tour is over (as long as its over 25 years old) the Air Force will ship it back home for you
>Want to blog about irrelevant bullshit because I'm an attention whore
>Tack on an /o/ related question at the end
>Please give me (You)s
I'm 20 and ijust got hired at pic related.
How'd I do /o/?
I know nothing about working on cars, but I want to learn and the manager seemed like a cool guy.
Anyone ever worked for them?
Is it a quick lube place? The company doesn't really teach you about cars. Like McDonald's doesn't really teach you how to cook. They have a system, you do it, that's it you wouldn't learn a lick about cars if you didn't want to.
But you'll have a lot of coworkers into cars and my manager at jiffy lube was the best manager I've had. You can learn the basics at a place like that if you want. How heavy is the traffic through the place? Would be nice if it has a steady amount of customers, not barren where you're just standing and the business worries about making money and not so busy where you're worked like a mule and it feels like working as a cook at McDonald's.
>>15808970
It's a lube shop that does basic things like filters, radiators, acs, tire rotation, etc.
I know it's just basics but i need a start. It's pretty busy at the location im working at
>>15809569
Basics are the best place to start anyway.
What is /o/'s opinion on jeeps? I just bought one.
Also general Jeep thread
prepare your anus.

What makes this 2016's car of the year?
And why are these now worth over a $1,000,000?
For me, it would be the car of the year if it was around 150k. I hate collector shit, cars are for driving.
It's car of the year because the rich want to get richer. It's a car built specifically for some million or billionaire to buy and then in turn sell it to another for a slightly higher price and so on.
>>15808579
>What makes this 2016's car of the year?
Who said this? EVO? Top Gear? Autocar?
Well, I fell for the black ice meme
It smells like fucking shaving cream.
Don't ever recommend this to anyone again
cant deal?
>OP couldn't deal
>>15808550
there are 2 kinds of people
those who enjoy black ice
and those who would suffer greatly if you tied them up and sprayed them with a can of this
Want to get a neat, dated car to work on and make into a street racer
I like the aesthetic of Fieros and they're pretty plentiful around where I am, would they be a good choice? What should my price cap be?
What kind of street races?
>>15808537
Probe or MX6 GT. First gen for style second gen for speed parts.
>>15808537
A fiero unless heavily modified won't be winning many Street races.
However it might make a nice track, or touge toy if you can learn to handle it.
Do people unironically like this abomination?
Every time I see one of these on the road I think of how much of a faggot and/or cunt that driver is.
>>15808487
I'd like one with the juke turbo engine and a manual trans and irs.
>>15808568
This
But the asymmetrical rear window triggers my ocd
>>15808487
Nissan's recent cars look pretty ugly, this is the just the icing on the cake.

By paying for it, nigger.
Why do people obsess over this car? It looks ugly as hell.
anime
>>15807953
I normally detest the "bolt on fenders" (or really any visible fasteners on body parts) but damn that looks good.
>ugly as hell
Lines look pretty clean to me, senpai.
Having trouble deciding between 2 cars.
1. 1997 BMW 528i with 198k with minor cosmetic damage, needs a radiator
2. 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 201k on the body and 80k on the frame. Minor rust, might need an allignment or ball joint.
Both cost the same for insurence and price, looking for opinions.
Heres the jeep
>>15807926
>buying such shitty examples of either car
Get a cleaner one you faggot.
>>15807940
Budget is only about $2,000, it's tough. These are the most ok ones I found so far.
Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying a certified pre-owned 2014 Subaru Crosstrek. Anything I should know about these cars? It's only got 30k on it and they're asking $19k for it. Are they good cars?
I already know I'm going to like it more than my pos Jeep Liberty that I'm trading in for it.
>>15807809
gutless 2.0
don't get it with the cvt
It'll be reliable and help if you live somewhere more rural.
You're better off with a used Rav4
>>15807816
It's mostly for a daily commuter. I won't be racing around the local dirt tracks with it or anything. Is the cvt unreliable, or just boring?
I drive a 1990 acura legend manual coupe, most interesting thing I can do with it?
>>15807555
That's a nice hoerscock
