Newfag
Woke up hungover and unfortunately ended up backing my truck into a street sign resulting in this ugly little dent and scratched paintjob.
I don't have much experience in paint and body but I want to try and fix this if I can.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Why don't they build these anymore?
Got some brake noise. Little bit of a low end squeal when I do soft stops and the pedal needs to be pushed down a good bit now. Want to know if just changing to new pads will do the trick? Don't have money to get it down at a shop.
pic unrelated*
You should probably try pads first then rotors if it still doesn't stop. Im assuming you think the noise is coming from disk brakes
>>16071458
Breaks could squek for a lot of reasons.
See to it that the discs are not rusted on the surface.
See that there is no grease on the discs/pads.
They also sometime squek with no aparent reason at all. If they still have stoping power there is no need to change pads/discs.

So i want an AWD 911, but they all cost around 80 grand here.
There are some RWD ones, for about 30 grand.
Is it possible to transplant AWD parts from a turbo into the chassis, or are there fundamental differences that will make this impossible?
I know it's a bit of a broad question, but i guess i'm just asking if it's possible to get one as a project and work on it over time, or if i should just save up and buy an existing AWD one.
You'll end up back at 80k.
>>16070900
I figure this, but i would still have my dream car in the meantime to work on slowly, which would be fun.
As long as it's not going to end up at like 200k in the end.
Does shit fit in easy, or is it a ton of fabrication work?
>>16070912
It'll fit. And 80k is exaggerated. It'll be expensive and kind of dumb, but go for it.
Hey /o/tists, whats the perk or benefit that rwd gives over fwd other than the ability of oversteering and killing yourself?
it helps you get stuck in the snow much easier

Dude is alright to look at some data sheets and couple of lap times to get an idea about how fast the car is.
Is not alright to shitpost the same images with the same laptimes in threads that are not about any of the car that you shitpost about.

Just wait for all kinds of lap times shitposting focusing on race gas fueled R34s that were derestricted by the factory racing team or tuned by a 3rd party in comparison to stock tests of the Corvette.
Why did they talk about the cappuccino as if using it was cheating?
>>16069488
because it ruined the underdog theme of the 86, and how it operates. The car was picked specifically to fuck over taco-mii
>>16069488
The Cappuccino handles stupid good, the size, weight, and wheelbase make it a fuckin go kart. Plus they can be tuned way above the kei car limit of 64PS, so it's not terribly slow, even though it's still slower than the Takumi's 86 in a straight line. Too bad they rust like mad or I'd have picked one up.
Also it messed with Takumi's driving style as he was used to being slow on the straight but fast in the turns, so they picked a car even slower than Takumi's on straightaways but with higher cornering limits.
>>16069651
why wasent there a beat or s500. they do the same thing.
