Its over. Dieselgate cost VAG a little too much and now they are forced to race in the same series as fucking Jaguar, an Indian run company.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
They're entering TCR though. LMP a shit.
>>16064959
>TCR
Oh wow, a hatchback series no one cares about
>>16064965
You're no one, but you don't seem to care.
Ah yes, of course, the cage which has such demonizing features
>power steering
>Signals that turn themselves off
>sun visors
>air conditioning
>Radio
>Cupholders
>four wheels
>USB ports
>12v adapters
>Infotainment system

>Hands free call answering
>Bluetooth

>Glove compartment which already holds more than a motorcycle
>Trunk
>Functional windshield
Of course, who would want any of that anyways?

Yeaaah, let it go man, this chick went for the biker, let's not make a whole autistic thread about it, mh?
>>16064819
Pretty much. Lane splitting is a no no in texas but even without it i need a whole 7 feet inbetween cars to merge. There is no traffic when youre on a bike.
Who thought this was a good idea?

Does this mean HSV is done as well?
Daily reminder that if your car can reach a higher top speed in reverse gear than it can in first gear, you should fucking kill yourself.

Do you think this car is shit? Why?
If you think so, IDGAF.

why even make this post?
Are you australian?
Do you think this car is shit? Why?
If you think so, IDGAF.
>>16064615
It's not shit, but it's not good either. Kind of ugly too. Either slap a turbo on it and some real tires or sell it at a lower price. Right now is not worth.
Daily reminder that old Snek made it around the ring in 7:12, yet Swedeshits can't get a car worth 10x as much around the track unless it's on the back of a tow truck having been wrapped around the crash barriers.

Did the guy walk away from it?
Then it did fine. He came into the corner way too hot.
I couldn't get it all out but there's a little bit of grim got on the rolling part of the rocker arm. Will my cam lobes be okay?
It was a little bit of that shit that builds around the outside valve cover gasket that fell in. I got most of it off but there is still some in that tiny part. Will it damage my cam lobes? These are brand new performance cams.
Just pour some oil over it and let the filter pick it up later
>>16064451
I thought about that.. It's already closed up though. Is it worth re-opening the whole thing and such. The shit that fell in is just engine grime. It was a tiny amount too.
>>16064449
>grime
>that fell in
>a tiny amount
If it's heavy enough to fall in, then it's enough to do some real damage. What about all the grime that fell in that you didn't see? Clean your engine before removing the valve covers next time.
Is vtec a meme?
All other manufacturers have jumped on board with their own versions. VTEC is the original and it works
>>16064381
variable valve timing to improve efficiency at low rpm and improve power at high rpm is not a meme
>>16064381
Yes, it is. But that does not mean is bad. Is a system that allows you to save fuel at low rpms and have a boost of power at high rpms.
Are Scorpios good cars? Both 1 and 2nd gen. I know they arent the prettiest but they have this nice american landbarge feel and comfy interiors. Plus they are pretty cheap in here, about 1k $ for a clean example like pic rel. MInd you we only have 4cyl versions. Are they reliable and cheap to run (excluding mpgess as most of them come with lpg installation already)? Is it a good idea to gen one of those or is it falling for the old luxury moneypit cars meme ?
In my area, is a scorpion for 800€ with 80k km.
I think there is some thing wrong. It look much way to good.
Now I drive a Ford puma, fml.
>>16064331
pumas and opel/vx tigras look really fun to drive
>>16064331
>I think there is some thing wrong.
No, this is actually really realistic.
1: No one liked them, even when they were new, that's why this gen of Scorpio failed massively
2: Fords of that era are cheap as fuck anyways
3: They rust like motherfuckers, so keep your eyes open for rust.
But again, even when no critical rust, under 1000 for a 80k km Ford is not unusual.

Why do sports cars always have rock hard suspension?
To reduce body roll and keep all 4 wheels firmly planted on the ground at any given time. Which for a performance car is good, for obvious reasons
>>16064100
this.
there you go, end of thread.
To tack onto this, I've seen a lot of butthurt denial from people saying "soft cars can handle too" which is true up until you start to get increased weight transfer and body roll. It's like they're defending how their Z32 can handle "even though it's soft"

Don't listen to this fuckhead. He's just trying to get you to pull your hamstring. Use your back only, and use a sharp jerking and twisting motion. It's safer and allows you to lift more.
