So I just got back after hurricane Mathew and my car has a few issues. randomly when I start my car it violently shakes while idling and only gets worse with rpm increase. The check engine light is on every time and it throws a code for random cylinder misfires. The radio also no longer turns on. I am wondering if the misfire problem is not physically happening with the evaluator present if they will do anything? Like I said the check engine light is constantly on and it throws the random cylinder misfire code. But doesn't always violently shake

No, but I've painted my own car, because it needed paint. I used a different color, glad I did because I like the color, but painting the jambs increases the amount of work by a huge amount. Every car is different but I'd say a good paint job on an otherwise straight car is going to be $3500 to $8k, increase the price by 50% if you are going to have the jambs and undersides of panels painted (color change).

I also Drive a 91 Toyota Pickup with a 22re in it however I also like having my new car (2015 VW) sometimes not having powersteering, AC, Bluetooth Radio, comfy seats gets old and its nice to jump into a new car. I need some quick advice, please!
I have a chance to buy an '87 corolla with the 4age for $650 (ausfag). The car itself is uninspiring, but the engine potential and the chance to make a nice econobox sleeper really appeals to me
As far as I can tell the cheapest I can buy the motor (fully reco) is around 2k, so it seems like a steal. 350k though, but I'm eager to do a full reco with performance parts on the motor.
Would you fucks do it? Or am I being blinded by the 4age?
