this is a fucking emergency. Near my where I live there is a guy selling a 2.5 rs Sti, now when I was younger my dream car was the Sti, but something seems fishy about this car since I know these model are rare, the dude is asking 3,600 for it and that is what's bothering me. How do I make sure the car is legit and it's not another model with the rs Sti badges? I don't know much about it other than knowing its rare. So that's why It seems to me kinda sketchy. I want /o/'s opinion. I don't want any shit talk I just want to know if iTs legit. Also it has all the badges and a scoop.

that's the most retarded statement ive ever heard and im not even OP. you can watch literally 10 minutes of video option and come to the same conclusion thats stated in the op, touge was a big movement in japan in the 90's.
yes, touge racing/drifting is still a thing in japan although on a much smaller scale, many touges still see almost nightly activity but the community now is much more tight-knit and obscure.
cops also frequently visit the more popular passes and just driving a slightly modified car at the touge at night is grounds for getting pulled over.
Why do normies think that only the Skyline is illegal in the U.S. and they don't realize that every car under 25yrs old that wasn't originally sold here is illegal?

Went 140mph in a 45mph country road. I was trying to hit the top speed of my Mazdaspeed 3, but was too scared to go above 140. The entire car felt like it slid around from the amount of drag and I heard strange noises from the windows. It was a cold night too, probably could push above 155 (the unlimited top speed). I still had plenty of revs in sixth to hit it.

Wont happen. You literally have to be born into that shit and raised from day one on it. You'll find this to be true in NASCAR, F1, MotoGP/Isle of Mann, etc....
People don't realize just how expensive it is. You need a tremendous amount of resources just to make it to that level. Unless you have a family history of racing, it's going to be very difficult for you to break through and have any kind of meaningful career.
