This is dangerous due to cellphones. When stopped, people whip out their cellphones to read or respond to the stacked up messages.
So if you start to move, they immediately start to press their gas pedal because their mind is half and half from thinking about the cell messages.

My car came with Dunlop runflats, they ruined my spine.
Uniroyal Rainsport 3s are pretty decent- slightly cheaper than the likes of Pilot Sport 2s or Sport contact 5s, but they're really grippy and displace shitloads of water in the wet. Seem to be holding up to spirited driving really well, too

so I just got to try all 3 drivetrains in the snow. Here's my review. The cars I got to try were
My 2006 Miata (RWD)
Sisters 2012 Malibu (FWD)
Mom's Honda Crosstour (AWD)
Tires aren't a problem, the crosstour and miata got new all seasons in october, and the malibu got new ones yesterday.
also need to note that my driveway is a steep hill
RWD review- really need to be focused when driving it through, have to make slight adjustments constantly. Barely made it up my driveway, but I've got ideas on how to do better that I'll try out another time. However, I was able to steer great. The miata went around turns great. Driving in the miata was as fun as always, even in the snow.
FWD review- Everything was pretty medium. Less adjustments needed to be made while driving, however steering wasn't great. Turning radius wasn't good, but not great. Overall decent but not great.
AWD review- fucking tank going up the driveway and down the road, however couldn't steer for shit. Had the turning radius of a commercial airliner. Had to reverse while turning once.
So, TL;DR- Don't listen to anons when they say "Don't get RWD it can't do shit in the snow, u need AWD" RWD can work fine. Id still reccomend trying them all on your own, as they're very different.

I've driven both an AWD Highlander and FWD Mazda3 (snow tires on both obviously) and the performance/handling differences are completely negligible. I've never had an issue with either.
I did just buy a Miata though so I am eager to see how it performs in this weather.

This may be true but for an anon looking at new cars in 2016/17, there really aren't any options for rwd if you don't want a sports car. It's all awd or fwd now. No more manual as well, outside the sport car class. At least from what I've seen.

Why do so many people buy this car? I mean it looks pretty nice but it is hardly an actual Mercedes, right?
My buddy just spent over 40k Canadian on it and he let me drive it and I can barely tell a difference between his CLA and my 2009 Accord.
Surely if you're going the Mercedes route you opt for the C300... Right?

I was going to buy it but I started looking into it and it just didn't make sense, I mean, it's a "Benz" but people would know it's the cheapest one because MB marketed it as the Benz anyone could afford.
I would definitely go for the C300 over this, at least now having a C class isn't like having the cheapest Benz. Hell, I would take a B250 over this CLA.

looking into new bulbs for my car, need something bright since I have poor vision.
currently looking into the Narva Rangepower+50. I did like Philips Xtreme Vision, but the longevity was disappointing; not falling for the HID and can't afford to do a retrofit right now.

Almost all of those after market bulbs that are brighter, or bluer have a shit lifespan. Like 6 months. I have not run into a single bulb other than stock that can last.
What bulbs does your vehicle take? There are a few slightly brighter ones that can last at least 2 years.
