This, since OP is a gigantic fag he'll shine up his asshole once it passes through for all the tops he bangs.
So /o/ I'm in the Army yah, got me a 2010 Ford Fusion, but I'm going to Guam soon so I'm gonna sell it, save my money for the 3 years I'm in Guam along with my reenlistment bonus so that when I come state side again I'm gonna have a pretty penny to spend on another car when I get back, and I'm thinking Trans Am WS6, my friend recommended the Nissan S15 cause chances are good they'll be legal in the US soon and that does look pretty good too. A Datsun would also interest me, so basically what would be a car to look at for when I get back the US?
>S15
>legal
Try 2024.
>>16556459
Are there any predictions as to when it might be legal?

You say that but all those trips to thailand for ladyboy hookers are gonna run you dry.
Why shouldn't I? They're dirt cheap. I want to fit in with rich people.
It has a Ferrari V8. It's (technically) the cheapest ferrari you can get. And the cheapest exotic
Sounds like a car you deserve to drive, go for it.
>fit in with rich people
>buys a car that costs less than a V6 Mustang
what
>>16556115
technically it's a maserati, you dingus, also maintenance is absurd. there was a rather rich tripfag on here a few years ago who had one and he said it was by far the most expensive car to maintain that he owned (and he had a bunch of other nice cars too)
Hey there auto. I have a question for you.
Firstly my car is an 02 E46.
I've been having "clunking" sounds in it for awhile. Clunk occurs at low speeds, especially when going over bumps. No vibrations from the steering wheel. No problems when turning.
I checked this site: http://estimate.myautomatictransmission.com/cv-joint-symptoms-and-replacement/
Which had the following info: At low speed, a bad CV joint may make a steady knocking sound every couple of seconds or so.
Upon visual inspection of my car, I saw that the outer CV boot was definitely ripped. I put my finger to it and got a fingerful of grayish grease on my hand.
My question for you guys: Will a CV boot like this ripping likely be causing these clunking noises? Said clunking can be replicated by pushing down on the hood with the car parked. Also, do I have to replace the whole CV joint? Or can i just like buy an inner boot, take off the joint, and replace it? Luckily I have a buddy with car knowledge I can do this with if this is possible.
I inspected my control arm (lower) and it looks fine (if not a little old). I suppose this clunking could just be old struts.
Thanks a lot anyone who reads this.
>>16555881
Cv boots click when turning not just steady.
A clunk noise could be a sway bar end link or a ball joint usually. If your going to replace a cv joint its better if you replace the whole axle.
>>16556061
I checked my sway bar. There didn't seem to be an "ply" in it. And i did replace it like 2 years ago so its not that old either.
Haven't heard any clicking.
>>16556190
I'm not talking about the sway bar I'm talking about the end link. If you don't hear clucking it isn't the cv joint.
Is it better to live long and grow soft with age, or to die young in a blaze of glory?
Why would there be a blaze of glory?
Besides OP, if you live like a bitch you die like a bitch
>>16555534
When my time comes, it comes but I'll make everything in my power not to be hitting a tree at 170.
>>16555534
Live long if you've got someone or something worth living for, live whichever if you don't.
Hey all.
I work as a diesel mechanic for a mining company. Our fleet is about 100 Mac trucks. Mainly dumps but we have mixers and haul trucks too.
Point being, been doing this for a few years and prior I worked for a Dodge dealership and that sucked pretty bad. Never felt good charging what we did for our shit services and getting a crap cut of the flat rate.
Any truckers out there or diesel mechanics? Does it get any less shitty?
Go be a aircraft mechanic if you want shitty. Hope you like safety wires and heart attacks. HD mechanics have it better than normal mechanics from what I hear.
I use to drive a end dump and dump truck literally the easiest decent money you can make
Was a tech at a Ford stealership for 5 years, master certified and all that bull shit. Hated it for the most part, shop politics and flat rate suck. Been working as a diesel tech for a few months now for a small privately owned fleet. It pays better, but the work can really suck sometimes. At least it's hourly so I know I'm actually bringing money home at the end of the week. Really don't want to turn a wrench for the rest of my life though.
Hey /o/
can you please tell me what car this is?
thanks!
Ford Ka

Can /o/ recommend a comfy cruiser with a good combination of space, fuel efficiency and a soft comfortable ride?
I was thinking of buying a newer Optima base model with the 16 inch wheels for a more comfy ride.
>>16555063
>optima
no.
Get a Camry, or even better, an Accord. Avoid the Nissan Altima though.
>>16555063
my mom has a 2011 Optima Turbo and its really nice. smooth, fast, solid, quiet. I'd recommend one.
Focus or Fusion
