Just bought myself a complete '72 CB 10 in parts. It ran when the guy bought it and he tried to restore it himself but lost interest.
I picked it up for $100.
I've found a mechanic manual for it, i've got to fix the frame first as it has a decent bit missing (not recorded through insurance luckily so it'll be road legal once i'm done)
any tips bdt?
I've got to assemble -everything-
gearbox, crankcase, top end, wiring, etc.

The world's most modern (aka futuristic) production car design is now 11 years old.
Why?
>>16549003
>>16549019
That is futuristic in a 90s sort of way. You wouldn't mistake it for being a modern car though.
Anyone have experience with shipping a car across the continental US? I just bought something in PA, need it shipped to CA, and was wondering if there's a good carrier I should know about.

Who is the most famous racecar driver?
Who is your favorite? Why?
>>16535220
Senna
Senna
Because he was motherfucking Senna
>>16535220
He's up there. Michael Schumacher might be the most famous recent driver throughout the world.
Idk who my favorite is, I like to cheer for Vettel these days because he actually has a chance. But I'm a big fan of some of the other F1 drivers who were around the series for years. Jenson Button and Felipe Massa are both cool because those dudes are both great racers and were often put off to the side as their teams signed younger cocky drivers who were supposed to be prodigies and they both took it with humility and just kept racing. I like Bottas too tho because he is one of the few younger drivers that actually has a personality and doesn't seem like an arrogant prick.
But yeah probably Vettel. Ever since the last few races when Red Bull was killing it and he was doing donuts at the end of every race. The team was telling him to stop because they might lose points and I think it was at COTA where he told his team something like "This won't last forever, we need to enjoy it now" as he was doing NASCAR style donuts around the track.
I like cars and Shit like everyone else here but you have to be a severe autist to enjoy racing
You know what to do.

Im going to look at a 1993 Eunos NA at the weekend.
What should I be looking out for guys?
Do the NA's rust as bad as the NB 2.5's?
All i know about the car so far:
>80,000 miles
>Not a great service record that I know of
>Timing belt "making a noise" the owner says
>Hasn't been driven much in the last few years
>Resprayed
>New Battery.
What should I be looking for when im looking at and test driving it?
>>16517424
has a hardtop also
>>16517424
Also they are asking €1900 (around $2,020) for this car.
Good price?
Would you drive it?

id lease it, but no way would i buy one.
I'd watch a segment of the Grand Tour about it

What will happen if I go 20 mph in 5th gear?
What will happen if I don't upshift from first after I take off?
You will be retarded.
>>16550499
>20 in fifth
Your engine will lug and hate you
>not upshifting
You will be limited to sub 30mph speeds and you'll be banging off the Rev limiter. Your engine will hate you.
>>16550535
>You will be limited to sub 30mph speeds and you'll be banging off the Rev limiter. Your engine will hate you.
Seriously? So The lower gears actually limit your maximum speed?
The 77 280z is hemorrhaging fuel somewhere (getting 12ish MPG and it can no longer hold idle without assistance) but there's no visible leak when I idle it or drive it on the ground. The engine bay vaguely smells of petrol but that's kind of normal.
I was messing around with the fuel tank trying to get some lining back into place. I'm guessing this is the cause but I don't really know what the remedy would be.
>>16550344
worth a shot
thanks /o/
If its carb'd it could be running rich as shit and dumping fuel in like a madman, but you'd usually see a bit of smoke on startup.
>>16550344
Mess with the fuel tank more to unfuck it and then check fuel system in engine bay as previous anon said.
