It is lifted, then they have spacers and deep dish wheels with relatively wide offroad tires on it. Lifting isn't ruining and the rest is just in the wheels I could make my truck look like this for like $800 then sell the wheels and tires to get my money back but there really is no functional reason for it somebody just wanted to do something different I guess.

I'm looking at buying a car that's a few cities away and it doesn't run. It's a 1984 E30 325e and the seller says it needs an engine harness to run. When I get home I'm going to swap a 325is drivetrain in it, but I have e not way to get it home. I'd rather not pay $300+ to rent a U-Haul truck and trailer.
Is there any way I can get the car started enough to drive home without a harness? I don't care if it won't idle, I don't care how well it runs, I just need to be able to limp it to the shop to do the engine swap.

I can't really fault the STI. It's a great car but tends to attract a certain crowd of morons as fans.
Personally, I'd look for a Subaru Forester XT with the 5 speed manual, and swap in the STI's 6 speed manual. The Forester XT gets the STI engine, but with a different turbo so it's slightly detuned. It's less likely to have been abused like a WRX or STI, and the wagon body style makes it infinitely more practical.

Its a small family hatch, get the base trim with the best NA engine available and eco tyres and thrash the living daylights out of it and it will be a bit fun but not fast. But very few modern cars are actually fun, they are too heavy, have too much grip so when you push it past the limit you are going too fast to fix it on the road, too quiet and generally not revvy enough because the are tuned for MPGs and chugging round town at 1200rpm, because that's what people do most.
