What does /o/ think of the Nissan 300ZX [Twin Turbo or NON turbo]
I looked online and all i can find was that if it was well maintained its a great car. Only down side is that the cars engine bay is very tight and everything is cramped in there { a great feat of engineering}.
Also I was looking for 240sx, 180 or 280sx... but there were many 300zx.
overrated and overpriced. pita to work on. cool car but youre better off getting a soopra
>>16551166
nah i researched these alot and apart from cramped engine bay it is a good reliable car
Dont get the 89 2+2 or 89 in general
same engine as the R35 and infinities lol
Get one thats had the turbos, engine and other common problems fixed.
>>16551166
Inclined to agree.
The N/A is fairly simple and well built, but disappointingly slow. The TT is decent quick, but a royal nigger to fix and unreliable. You will never find one unmolested for under $30,000.
My friend had major issues with his T Top too, constantly fucking leaked even when he replaced all the seals.
Alright /o/,
Sorry for this boring thread but I need your help. My '04 Ranger finally bit the dust last week and I am currently without a car. I looked at the sticky chart but it didn't help me much.
Requirements:
>$8k-13k
>4 doors and room for a child seat.
>Extremely reliable
>Doesn't look like shit
>Reasonably fun to drive
>Preferably American or German made
Pic unrelated.

if you have amazon prime, Winning: The Racing Life of Paul Newman is pretty great.
My 03 Mustang GT has started doing something weird. Feels like the engine is lugging? 2 years of ownership and it has never done this.
In 4th and 5th below 2k RPMs....The car lurches like Ive never felt. Its like the rear diff is trying to escape from the car. Before you say "it is lugging the engine." 2 years and its never done this, furthermore, I purposely lugged the engine twice today in 3rd and it doesn't feel the same. Facts:
>I'm in New England (its cold) (brr)
>It's a rusty beater
>4.10 gears
>Aftermarket clutch
>Tires are brand new all seasons (>2000 miles)
Just started this winter. What the fuck is going on?
>>16550663
The problem is circled on the front and rear of the car.
>>16550663
Handbrake probably has gotten rotten enough to where it doesn't fully disengage. My ranger does this too.

What does /o/ think of the Volt?
The idea of never needing gas for my normal commute is pretty attractive
>>16550126
Look up long haul reviews about it. Make sure you're OK with cargo capacity and how it feels to sit in etc. It is >GM but they made a smart move having an on- lard generator. Also our resident shitposters have finally discovered Tesla so expect this thread to go to shit real quick.
>>16550126
>The idea of never needing gas for my normal commute is pretty attractive
The Volt is a gas hybrid, the Bolt is the EV.
http://www.chevrolet.com/bolt-ev-electric-vehicle.html
>$30K after federal tax credit
>238 mile range
It'll be interesting to see how the Tesla Model 3 compares in both price and range.
I have a 1st gen Volt. Pretty much never need to use gas unless I leave town. Electric bill didn't change, its actually lower than last year. Comfy commuter and torquey like a 6 banger.
>water pump
>actually pumps coolant
>gas pump
>pumps fuel
>fuel pump
>pumps gas
people way down south can run water all year long

2017 HONDA Civic Hatchback
What does /o/ think of the the new hatchback? Should I puss out now and buy the sport version or wait for the Si/type R version?
>>16549377
Love it. Tough i would like it more with a more straight hood. Like pic related
>>16549377
>Si will be coupe/sedan only
>Type R is still fwd
Just get the sport and give it a tune, you sperglord.

Are those Marklin trains? I got a fuckton of those
I want to build a giant ass model but don't have room :(
Planning on moving to Seattle WA from Oklahoma. I want to ship my car up there at a later date. How much do you think it will cost and would a better alternative be just to rent a U-Haul and put the car in the back, tie it down with all my stuff and just drive up there?
>>16549179
You mean a tow dolly or actually trying to put it in the back of a large uhaul?
>>16549179
Stay in your shitty flyover state, we're full.
>>16549424
Actually putting it in the back.
Hypothetically speaking, what's the best way to go about destroying someone's car?
Silent methods would be preferable, as the car in question would likely be parked in a driveway. Anything helps though.
+1 if insurance won't cover it
Slash 3 of the 4 tires. Insurance only covers it if all 4 are slashed.
