How it's diagnosed? Usually it's if the patient is experiencing Gender Dysphoria, which is big science-y term for "feeling trapped in woman/man's body"

Gender Dysphoria is a Mental Illness, but this is hotly debated.

Transgenderism is a by-product of Gender Dysphoria, but some Transexuals don't necessarily have Dysphoria, just a desire to dress, act, and behave like the opposite sex; a lot of times they don't even fully transition and just take hormones. The one's who do experience Dysphoria, have increased risks of suicide and depression.

The 'official' treatment for GD is to transition to the opposite sex, as far as the patient is comfortable with.

'Transgenderism' isn't a Mental Illness in actual practice anymore, except for a few radical pockets, but on paper it's still technically a Mental Illness (Remember, though, so was Homosexuality until the 90's.)

It's the health Ontario complete resource for doctors in primary health care for trans clients. It's an incredible master resource but it also includes forms and information about diagnosing or recognizing transgenderism.

Yeah, I know man. It's almost like humans are fallible and have their own experiences and biases, and ideologies are, get this, ideal.

If I feel like I hate anything about straight chicks or bisluts, it's more I hate the environment that encourages their behavior, more than I actually just hate them.
It sucks that men give attention to women who make out with other women, because it only reinforces the notion that lesbians aren't a legitimate sort of woman, and that we're just a male fantasy. I also hate how, in our current time, it's still very enticing for a bisexual woman to end up with a man in the end, because she feels pressures to have that 'family life'.
