I'm probably buying a USP 45, not the tactical cause I'm not getting a suppressor. However I will in the far future.

Are the aftermarket threaded barrels for standard USPs good along with the aftermarket suppressor sights? How do standard USPs work when they are made suppressor ready.
>>
>>35094520
I'd get an OEM threaded barrel for it, a heavier recoil spring also. HK barrels are among the best. I would go ahead and buy the tactical if I was you, wait and find one on sale if you have to.
>>
>>35094520
If you're going to do it anyway, get it done right by HK. It will likely be more economical in the long run anyway. In the far future you'll be kicking yourself for cheaping out on what should have been an excellent gun to keep forever.
>>
>>35094520
Get the tactical. If not for the barrel, get it for the kickass match trigger. It's about as good as a Sig P229 SRT trigger.
>>

You should buy one with a factory threaded barrel if that's what you plan to do. HK makes some of the finest barrels in the industry, with the result that most aftermarket barrels are likely to actually be a significant downgrade.

>>35094689
The Tactical doesn't come with the whole Match trigger assembly. IIRC, you only get the Match hammer.
>>
>>35094520
I did the same with mine because having "Tactical" on the slide looks retarded as all hell. Get the HK threaded barrel and heavy spring set. Haven't gotten the night sights yet, but will probably go with whatever I find on HKParts.net.

I think that only goes for the USP 9mm. My USP 45 T made in 2017 has the match marking on the hammer and the overtravel screw on the trigger. Also feels alot better than any regular USP45 Ive tried.
>>
>>35094689
How does it compare to the standard USP trigger, or maybe the Mk23 if you've shot one before?
>>
>>35094911
Much superior to the regular USP which was pretty heavy. Have only held a MK23, but I've heard the USP match trigger is superior. Btw just checked HK's website and it says that the USP45T does have the match trigger.

The match trigger on the Tactical is almost worth it by itself. I have a standard USP to compare it to and it is night and day.

With patience you can find a Tactical for less than a grand. Bought mine for $892 brand new in the box.
>>
>>35094892

The example on HKPRO has a .45 Tactical.

Are the trigger guards thick enough that I can dremmel or stipple off the warning label? Someone pointed it out in another thread and I really hate how it ruins an otherwise great looking gun.
>>
>>35095924
>being this big a bitch about a non issue
You really need to look for warning labels and import marks on other guns.

Is the FNX 45 the spiritual successor to the USP? Asking for a friend's hot mom.

No

The HK45 is, stupid.

Yeah but it doesn't have the lighter hammer spring, the match sear etc.

Though he's right OP, get a Tactical or you'll cry later. Don't forget that it comes with night sights suppressor heights, the base of the match trigger kit that you can upgrade to a whole match trigger next (I've has several USP with it, never had a better trigger)

HK barrels are amongst the strongest, the most accurate...Pay once, cry once. Pic related is my old Custom Sport, I ended up buying Tactical after that...
>>
>>35094520
Just buy the tactical.

Plus if you need money, the Tactical sells super fast, the others not so much.

This one was sold in 27 minutes which is impressive for France.
>>
>>35094520
if you do decide to go with a standard, buy used
resell value is shit if you don't
>>
>>35095979
I don't mind import marks or serial numbers. I just can't abide warning labels. The only other handguns I own are a makarov and a 1911 and neither of them have this problem.

This is the most autistic thing I have ever read.

Don't be a faggot.
>muh 1911 and mak don't have them!
>Warning label on a commie service pistol
>Warning on what is probably either a period timepiece or something manufactured before this shit was semi required by litigation happy customers.
Give me a fucking break. Literally 99% of guns have this shit stamped somewhere. Get over it.
It's not like they drew cocks on it ala spikes.
10/10 made me mad.

Keep in mind that the USP Tactical models also come with a match trigger. Even if you don't want it now, installing it later would be an extra ~$120-150 cost, IIRC.

I don't know about aftermarket barrels - they're probably just fine - but you can always get an original factory part for around $250. The factory barrels have the rubber o-ring.

https://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/HK-USP-45-USP-45-Tactical-Threaded-Barrel-444p319.htm

I don't really like the factory HK suppressor sights that come on the USP Tactical models. They lack any sort of contrast paint or even ribbing on the front sight, so they can be hard to see against many backgrounds. I think most people would swap the sights out for aftermarket.

My USP40 Tactical came with all the match trigger parts.

Just get the tactical since you need to change the spring and the barrel, you will actually save money while getting the match trigger everyone loves.

But it isn't, stupid.
