If you actually made an attempt to read the article you posted, It's supposed to be a light tank for airborne troops or where an MBT isn't nessecary. Just like the Sheridan was and M8 AGS was going to be.
It's not an MBT and it's not replacing anything.

So what? The closest equivalent to this thing in the Russian arsenal is the Sprut-SD. It weighs 14 tons less than the projected US light tank and basically has damp cardboard for armor. It's not designed to take hits. If anything, the US tank's 32 ton weight requirement will let them stick more armor on it.

Hi /k/, frenchman here, obviously not familiar with your board, since french laws are shit concerning weapons.
But insecurity is growing in Paris, I moved into a shitty neighborhood which is infested by "groups of youths" and I don't want to be the white pussy getting fucked in this situation.
I wondered what kind of discreet, efficient, non lethal and incapacitating weapon can I use to protect myself ?
Because even pepper spray is illegal, you can have some at home to neutralize home invaders (thanks french laws), but can't carry in the streets.
Any ideas ?

I guess you could always carry a huge flashlight to use as a baton, but that would be rather awkward. Your best solution would just to be careful and learn when/where to walk and better yet not walk out in some dark alley by yourself.
Also, from my understanding, France is better than most Eurocuk countries as it comes to firearms.
