How the swedish meme tank would fare in middle eastern wars like modern day syria?
>how would this tank perform in a conflict it wasn't designed for and is nowhere near any place where it could possibly be used?
The answer is that we could clear out ISIS tomorrow with just 2 of these.
Satisfied?
>>31581803
it designed to pop up behind a hill, fire, hide then change position that's why the weird look i don't think that come usefull in the middle east
>>31581803
You mean asymmetric warfare where only one side has tanks?
>Heres my prediction for the Ruger American pistol...as far as I know no one else has said this...

I don't really agree. I just seriously believes that nobody on earth has ever thought or said what he is about to say.
It's his Autism dude.

Not really sure why it corrected to 'I'.
>>31581699
I really wish this motherfucker would have just confined his sperging to trains or something so I didn't have to see\hear about this shit. Nutnfancy is the other, less dangerous reason autists shouldn't have guns.
And as usual, being a retard

What? Don't you belive FDR had a crystal ball and knew before Pearl Harbor about carrier strike tactics and the outcome of midway, making the loss of all the Pacific battleships and 2700 sailors acceptable?
The oil embargo was about making Japan angry enough to attack, not depriving them of resources to open up a colonial front against the brits and cutting the allies off from southeast Asian rubber.
Also, Hitler dindu nuffin wrong.

Speaking of this shit, where is Billy Boy? Isn't he roasting World War Z? Haven't seen a thread of his lately.

I dunno but I'm considering taking it up with the Turner Diaries or maybe Night of the Hunter.
Is there a difference between high explosive and incendiary rounds?
yes, incendiary rounds burn and high explosive rounds explode
>>31581612
When I googled it, I read that incendiary rounds are most effective when armor piercing so that they explode inside the target. And that incendiary rounds were made with gun-cotton charges, which is the same used in high explosive. WW1 had phosphorous rounds, which were effective as tracers and zeppelin killers, but that doesn't appear to be the modern standard.

Say after i go out plinking or something and forget to swap out to a home defense load, a situation arises and i have to shoot this nigger with target shot, how effective will it be?
It would be devastating. Bird shot is the ultimate HD load. Buck is a distant second.
>>31581469
6 shot will be devastating at HD ranges.
>>31581469
At home defense ranges? Probably still devastating. Just not quite as much.
We've all had good/bad ideas for firearms. Let's hear some of yours.
One of the problem with tube magazine lever actions is the limits to what bullets you can use- pointy ones being a bad idea. My idea is for a lever action that uses the new cased telescoped ammunition types. That way you can safely load spitzer points in a tubular magazine.
Classic looks plus modern performance.
Another idea is to bring back the .44 Henry rimfire cartridge. Many jurisdictions (in the US and around the world) have strict restrictions on centerfires (mag caps, semi auto, etc), but looser ones on rimfires. So, bring back the large rimfire to get near-centerfire performance without centerfire restrictions.
Something like the helical magazine from the Bizon SMG would help with feeding issues in a semi-auto.
On the "everything old is new again" theme, some of the innovations in modern manufacturing should allow for more parts for old guns. It'd be nice to have a made-to-order system for spare parts. There are lots of older firearms that could easily be restored to working order with just a few spare parts that are next to impossible to find.
Gyrojet ammo with a small regular charge at the base to accelerate it quickly before the rocket kicks in. This is in case the target is very close.
Irish army - 7000 men in two lightly equipped infantry brigades.
Irish air force - 939 personnel with two small maritime patrol planes and a handful of helicopters. No fighters or bombers.
Irish navy - 8 small patrol boats
How come Ireland has almost no armed forces when equivalent-sized nations such as Norway, Denmark etc have significant armed forces including modern fighters, tanks etc?
>>31581156
Because no one wants Ireland.
>>31581156
Because nobody's going to invade Ireland.

They get Russian bombers and subs prowling around just like the rest of western Europe. How do they defend their territory?

>Philippines' Duterte defiant as poll shows popularity soaring
What a gentleman of fine taste. Of course his popularity also soars.
That's it. I'm going to buy a Glock 30, because based Du30 approved it.

>- Anti-US rage -
>Duterte has rejected international criticism by calling US President Barack Obama a "son of a whore" and telling him to "go to hell", sticking his finger up to the European Union and branding UN chief Ban Ki-moon a "fool".
>Duterte has also threatened to break the Philippines' decades-old alliance with the United States, its former colonial ruler, because of Washington's criticism over the crime war.
>Obama has urged Duterte to respect the rule of law and fight crime "the right way".
>While abusing Obama, he has complained about a lack of respect from his US counterpart and said he now wants to forge much closer ties with China and Russia.
>His foreign secretary, Perfecto Yasay, maintained the rage on Thursday with the release of a lengthy statement headlined: "America has failed us".
>"The United States held on to invisible chains that reined us in towards dependency and submission as little brown brothers not capable of true independence and freedom," Yasay said.
>Last week he said he would be "happy to slaughter" three million drug addicts, as he likened his crime war to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler's efforts to exterminate Jews.
What a based guy.
if your gonna ruin a nations economy ya gotta do it in style, and he ain't lacking that
>>31581050
>implying Flips have an economy
yeah, no. The reason they elected him is because they figured they had no where to go but up.
i was thinking
>why don't they use other kinds of propellents then gunpowder on boolets, propellents that is more powerfull and ligther
>why not use non metalic lighter bootet casings aswell
>>31580977
Because the system has been going on so long that transitioning from brass and gunpowder to other shit would be extremely costly and likely wouldn't happen for decades if at all because the brass and gunpowder manufacturers would heavily bitch and try to stop it at every turn.
Firearms turning into grenades is not a step forward anon.
>>31580977
it has been done OP, back at the end of the cold war NATO was working on caseless ammo using a different form of propellant :see kraut space magic. it did not work well because the brass case acts as a heat sink. plastic cases have also been tried and although functional never caught on due to lack of reloadability.
Alright /k. Should I be afraid to fire this thing?
Put it together many years ago. Never got around to actually testing it.

Just wanted some opinions
>>31580904
The Henry made ones are ok.
But really, a Ruger 10/22 Take-Down model does everything it does better, in a package that ultimately isn't that much bigger.
>>31581012
I have an old 10/22. Not a takedown model. I can get a Henry for $250. Is there any place selling a 10/22 for cheaper?
>>31581062
Not 100% sure, it'd depend on where you are.
I suppose you could sell your old 10/22 and buy a new 10/22 Take Down?
Hi /k/, what did you do today in /k/ way ?
I shot all of pic related for the first time in a range where the let you rent guns, in Switzerland
Shit was fun, until the M500

Zeroed a Primary Arms ADS red dot on my AR15. I've never used optics before so I thought I'd start with something cheap.
Went innawoods to scout out new deer hunting spots for this year, ended up running into a big old timber rattlesnake sunning on a log and noped out of there at the speed of sound.
I love going innawoods but I'm petrified of snakes.
How to go innawoods without ever seeing snakes?
