What do you guys think of 6.5 Grendel?
Is it a meme caliber like .300 Memeout? It sounds like a pretty good intermediate caliber balistically. Im in the middle of a nicer AR build for longer range and Im on the fence about leaving it as 5.56 or maybe trying out the 6.5.
Is it worth it? It looks like even reloading it is kind of expensive. If I go 5.56 Im using an 18 inch 1/8 or 1/7 twist barrel so I should be able to throw 77gr out of it and still not be out as much.

It does what it's supposed to do and factory ammunition is available. You'll need to change your bolt, too, though. I don't know if you have to change magazines, but I think you might.
Blackout isn't really a meme, either. It's not meant to be a long range cartridge. It's meant to switch seamlessly from supersonic to subsonic with nothing more than a magazine change and attaching a suppressor.

Why are anti-aircraft guns still popular when you'd think that missile-based systems would be more effective? Does it have to do with reaction time? A gun can fire instantly whereas a missile needs time to lock-on to a target. Or is that not correct? What's the real story here? Pictured is a German-made anti-aircraft vehicle armed with two 35 mm flak cannons. Each gun has a firing rate of 550 rounds/min. The Gepard has a built-in tracking radar and laser range-finder.

They have 4 targets:
1. Helicopters, which they can be highly effective against from decent distances.
2. Low flying jets; if an A-10 fails to kill or identify a modern AAA system like the Tunguska, it's going to get shredded.

So everyone is talking about the presidential election impact on guns but most people have totally forgot about state races. Any other states about to get cucked hard ?
Here in NJ this guy Phil Murphy is going be our new Governor and here is his platform on guns:
#1 All FPID holders will need to take a safety class as part of the program.
#2 All FFL holders will need to promote smart gun technology and carry at least model of smart gun.
#3 New tax on gun sales used to fund the state police forces.
#4 All guns will need to be registered.
#5 No more private transfers of firearms, will have to go to a FFL.
#6 Have a new anti NRA policy at the Attorney General office to fight citizens and out of state citizens tooth and nail to enforce existing and new gun laws (because we actually won some cases against bullshit laws and their enforcement)

Semi auto rifle in a full power rifle cartridge, long barrel, telescopic sight. Good for taking out key targets from long distance so the operator can gtfo without being seen.
Small, low caliber pistol with a silencer for personal defense if forced to actually engage.
A guerilla should never be engaging an enemy. They should be taking out things like fuel and power stations as well as collecting intel. If they get caught they should kill themselves as quickly as possible.
