So skeet shooting is when two houses firing pigeons from opposite sides towards each other
Trap shooting is one house in the middle that fires directly away from you
And clay shooting is when you simulate different animals like rabbits with clays
What is it called when you're just hand throwing or using machines to launch up clays?

Isn't trap shooting illegal in most western countries?
>>31579453
In England they call it tossy shooty disk jamboree.
>>31579530
No, why would it be?

There's also 5 stand and Olympic bunker...
The "clay shooting" you speak of, in my parts, is called sporting clays... Which makes sense when you are simulating hunting.

Why would you want to shoot a trap anyway? They're not doing anything wrong by looking cute.

>And clay shooting is when you simulate different animals like rabbits with clays
That would be "sporting clays" and is extremely fun. They have large outdoor areas set up with many stations to simulate. The place I go to has 4 or 5 separate ranges that simulate different things, 50 shots for each one.
I mainly do trap/skeet though.
>What is it called when you're just hand throwing or using machines to launch up clays?
I'd just call that your basic clay shooting.

with 10 stations each, where you do 2-6 shots.

odd, all of the ones around me are 8 stations with 2-4 clays each.

Maybe it's 8, I don't pay that much attention.
