Find em on sale. I had a pair of their multicam assault pants and they were high speed as fuck, but they got shredded and cut off my when my dumb ass got BTFO by an RPG in Afghan.
They were comfy and lightweight and tough as shit, though. Just don't pay full price.

No, get these instead

New to /k/. Looking for a good knife
https://north40.com/gerber-bear-grylls-ultimate-fixed-blade-knife?utm_source=google_shopping&gclid=CN7ikO-A6tACFUEdgQod9l0GrA
Not sure if this is just celebrity endorsed garbage or if it's good. I've seen one to purchase at about half price.
Is it worth it or should I save my money for something else? If not do you have any good suggestions for a knife?
>>32277527

no

>>32277527
Complete trash. I bought one when I was young and stupid. It broke. Also, no real outdoor knife should have serrations.

Yeah, I remember hearing that before on a thread I saw a while back

Hey /k/, sorry to be a complete newfag but i wanna buy a CETME/HK G3 pattern rifle for the 1st time. I've been looking at PTR for a long time and I've heard a lot of good things about them, i already know to stay away from the shit tier Century CETME builds including their C308.
The G3 pattern of rifles looks to have a more complex assembly than an AK. (At least with the bolt)
Can you help a /k/omrade out, and tell me what i need to know? I'm gonna be having a 1,000 dollar budget when i get my tax return next year.
>Inb4 every Swedfag tells me how great the AK4 is
Norfag here. The ag3 is pretty great
>>32276945
How so?
>>32276908
I don't know how simple the AK assembly is so I cant compare them, but I never felt the G3 assembly was too complicated. Fairly easy to manage if you ask me.
gangster style glock sights on my $400 1911
Almost looks like a professional install
A few mag dumps later and I think we can call this a success.

So, how would /k/ equip child soldiers? I'm asking due to pic related and reading an old article about child soldiers, pretty much every child was equipped with a AK variant. High recoil and high ammo weight should be far from optimal for the little ones. Agreed, so is the occupation and if you employ child soldiers you're probably more concerned about your troop numbers and logistics then strict per "soldier" efficiency...
But as a thought experiment, if you where to try to equip your child soldiers with the best stuff to fight your average third world battle, what would you give them?

Reported and saged
>>>/pol/ has your answers
I would give them knives and small arms. I would then have them lure enemy soldiers close and stab them.
>>32276746
Believe me, if I wanted 300 posts about why the [minorities of the week] are responsible for [situation]. I would go straigth to /pol/. But as it happens I'm actually curious about the topic.
But oh yes, a board that regulary posts recipes for homemade explosives and faps to animes with underage heroes using weaponry is of course morally superior.
>implying I wouldn't be in service right now
>implying I wouldn't be cheaper
>implying the F35 doesn't suck
Boy America, you sure fucked up by choosing the inferior product here.
>>32276516
>Didn't even match proposal because they couldn't get the tailless design to work
>Had no idea how to reliably build the one-piece wing
>Would've done a fraudulent complete redesign if they won
>No room in design for munitions
>Had to strip it bare to do a STOVL flight
>Used wimpy Harrier-inspired system that could cause a hot exhaust feedback
We picked the right one.
If it'd somehow won JSF there'd be even more shitposting about it and most of it would actually be true.
The F35 doesn't suck. It has the same types of problems all new weapon systems have. Everything I'm reading from the people who know says that the F35 is incredible and it's a new generation of warfare.
When I thought it couldn't get any worse, this guy has the audacity and ego to charge people money to hang out with him.
Oh, and the annotations say they'll be a video or two generated from each "adventure".
I can't wait to hear what you have to say, /k/

Jesus Christ, I might pay money to keep him away from my children, maybe.
Not to get autistic criticism face to face.

Is there any hope in getting a p210 as an American without paying several thousand dollars?
>>32276153
No.
In Europe second-hand P210s still do well over 1500 euros unless they're hopelessly beat up, and the P210 is much more ubiquitous over here than it is in the USA.
JUST DO IT!

Wanting to purchase a gun for hunting, self defense, etc etc etc. Never bought a gun before, what should I start with. I was thinking a shotgun, possibly a Mossberg 500 or Remington 870.
Thoughts? Also general discussion on first time gun shopping.
AR-15
Not an option since it will have to be kept in New York at certain times.
>>32275739
Are you planning on hunting? If you are, what are you hunting?
Ideal hunting guns and ideal self defense guns are different guns.
