Hello /k/ first time posting here so I'm not sure if this is the right board for this...anyway how would someone go about making an armor like this, minus the mask, that is actually bulletproof? I've seen a bunch of people recommend motocross body armor but that's no bulletproof, any way to make it bulletproof or make something else like this, I'm just looking for a good lightweight bulletproof armor that looks kinda stylish ya know? Any help will be appreciated

said plates also cost a shitload if you want the light ones. heavy ones are much cheaper. all will be thick.

Alright /k/, so I've got around $600 saved up in my Gun Fund right now, and figured it's time to seriously start thinking about what to spend it on.
My original leaning were towards a pistol, a CZ SP-01 or P-01, but then I started thinking about saving up a little more and getting a Sig, which I've always wanted. Or really save up and get a nice revolver.
Then I started kicking around ideas for a snowflake AR15 build. I generally find AR15s completely uninteresting and boring, so I was going to do something kinda off the walls with it, but that project very quickly ballooned in price and complexity and now I'm not sure about it.
Then there is always the prospect of collecting more milsurp. I've had a Swedish Mauser on my list of things I want for a while now. A local shop also has some Ishapore 2A1s on the rack for a decent price.
Then again, I'm located in Dallas, so shooting rifles is an involved and/or generally disapointing experience becasue of how shit the ranges around here are, so I kinda think the pistol would be a better option, but I know how much milsurp is going up now and I'd like to get something before things really start getting scarce.

Maybe after the Gen5s come out. I've fired and handled several and I hated the way all of them have felt in my hand. It's like holding a Lego brick.
Why are flight formations always horizontal?
These no different from surface formations, even though being in the air allows you to use the 3D space freely.
I wonder what kind of non horizontal formations jets could make, like all of them in the same Y axis or a square with a fighter in front of that square, like a prism, or even a cube. And what kind of benefits those would have.

That's an airshow type of formation. Actual tactical formations can be 1-5 miles apart from fighter to fighter with various altitude stacks. So yeah, they aren't all horizontal, you just don't know anything about tactical flying.

It's ok for that but mineral oil isn't great to get on your skin, even if it's not toxic, it might be carcinogenic.
It'll also darken the leather. If you want that effect, Obenaufs LP is better and also waterproofs. Also look at Sno Seal. If not, just get a leather conditioner like the one Otter Wax makes.

Dumbass, just use vaseline or any other kind of dry skin lotion. Ive been using my wifes moisterizer for 3 years on my boots and they are good to go.

Garands are only designed to fire .30-06 ball ammo unless you get a ported gas plug. If you're going to reload 30-06 for it you'll need to reload it to the specs of the ammo your Garand is designed for unless you get the ported gas plug then you can adjust the rifle to fire higher or lower power 30-06.

20, I joined right after conscription was replaced with a proffessional army.
