>this stupid
Don't give that failure Sparky attention. He was banished from just about every military forum around in the early 2000s because of his obnoxious behavior and general stupidity.
His weird fixation on the 113 rivals that of the most devoted fetishist or glidetard.
>>32273675
Is he just he Pierre Sprey of the Internet?
>>32273675
>fixation on the 113
Wait wait wait. Are you telling me there's someone out there who actually thinks the 113 is good? It might be a fun as fuck to drive, being a giant angry go kart on treads, but it is an absolute piece of shit to maintain and it's armor is fucking unslanted aluminum everywhere except for the front (to protect the motor and trannies). I literally watched one burn like a ream of paper when an O2 tank sparked off. From what I understand, it's an aluminum alloy; is it mixed with fucking magnesium? Christ, fuck those things.
Been looking into the Mitchell Arms P08.
Love the Luger-inspired design. What do you guys think? Any of you ever used this gun before?
They're just as expensive as a real Luger.
Why buy one?
Not b8, just asking.
pic related is 3 of my 4 Lugers
I had a mitchell arms luger. it sucked. went back to factory 4 times for warranty work. get a real mauser instead.

Luger thread?
Luger thread!
/k/ what do you think? a 1x-4x optic, a 2x optic, a reflex optic, a strobe tact light, a PEQ laser sight, a bipod vertical grip and a underslung 9mm all on my HK L85a2 Carbine
if no one response i will attempt the suicide myself with it....

Did the brits just go out of there way to make a shitty rifle?
>only right ejection; fuck lefties
>bolt handle only on opposite, hard to reach side
>selector way the fuck away from where your hands are going to be
>same for magazine release
>oh and btw we need muh Germans to fix it cuz brit industry is awful
>>32273367
honestly i like it though (keep in mind, im talking about the HK.. not the shitty first gen. SA80) it has REALLY controllable recoil, it has a compact size but can plink things with ease from 300+ yards, and (this might be because how much i used it) its an easy gun to manipulate if you used it a couple of times
O/k/unts
you need to blast a dook in public so where do you store your cc? Toilet tank? I might forget it.
pic related, it's what I do
The fuck? I leave it in my holster and it stays put, what the fuck is wrong with you people that remove it?

How are gays actually treated in the military? I'm thinking about joining the navy but my boyfriend and I are worried that I might get hazed/made fun of for liking dick.
Dont make it everyone else's business and no one will care. Keep your personal life to yourself and make jokes when other make jokes.
>>32273151
>Navy
You'll be fine
>>32273151
It is fine and nothing to worry about. Like anything just don't completely wear it on your sleeve.
Why doesn't the military just assign everyone thermal optics? Theoretically nobody would be able to hide afterwards.
>>32273018
Because cost
Because definition
Because fog
Because weight
>>32273018
Cost.
The single lens ones fucks with your depth perception, making it hard to estimate range.
They would also effectively blind the user to certain environmental hazards that you can still see with NVGs...like holes in the ground, walls, curbs, fences.
But mostly cost.
The binary vision ones aren't as bad for depth perception, but they're way more expensive, and you don't have a Mk I Eyeball backup for the problems mentioned above. You'd need some sort of super vision that did some sort of compositing of NVG and thermal, but for the price, you might as well just buy a fucking APC.
So cost.
>>32273028
None of these things have stopped acquisitions from doing other stupid shit, like having soldiers lug around Barretts or SMAWs with their primary, or acquiring the shiniest HK shit to fulfill the duty of an M14. Fog is not enough of an issue.
Whether you're lefty or /pol/
Amerifat or Europoor
I think we can all agree that poachers are the lowest rung of humanity. What can we do to stop them?
>>32272943
giraffes are pretty sexy imo
>>32272943
Poachers make very little money and usually don't have alternatives. The demand is to blame.

Shot a Glock 29sf earlier today and kind of fell in love with it. I've been looking for a subcompact for summer carry (I'm a small guy so I need a subcompact during hot weather). I did some research into it, seems like a .357 sig or a .40 S&W are just as good and I've read better. What are your thoughts?
>>32272547
A 10mm or 357sig is a shit load of firepower to try and handle from a subcompact pistol. 9mm or 40sw would be much morw tame.
>>32272576
This.
Even 9mm g43 is hard to tame compared to compact and full sized pistols.
>>32272547
I have the G33 in my carry rotation. I love it, the only downside is that its muzzle flip makes it sort of difficult for accurate follow up shots.
I have had an itch for a smaller carry pistol that while not sacrificing capacity. Beretta Px4 subcompact looks like a nice fit but since these things are fucking rarer then the Spear of Longinus. I have not be able to find anyone who stocks them and they seem to be sold out everywhere online.
Anyone have one that can chip in? I found ONE that is going for $530. Just wondering if it is worth that kind of price tag.
>>32272521
No one has this ugly pretty chubby Italian QT?
>>32272521
Get the PX4 Compact Carry. The dimensions height and lengthwise are marginal along with the weight difference. It doesn't have the rotating barrel but I think a lot of people overrate it when they're talking about the PX4.
It's coming out "real soon" and basically, it's an upgraded version of the Compact with suggestions made by Ernest Langdon who shoots the PX4 competitively.

>$850
Just because I can afford it, is it a bad idea to buy a "premium" handgun as my first? I often hear that you should start with something regular so you will learn to outshoot it before you spend money on better guns. The reasoning is being that as a novice, you won't even notice the accuracy difference.
I ask because I got a Christmas bonus and I want to relive my childhood, so I want to buy a Mk23. It's a big gun, but I've held it before and it feels good in my hands. I also want to take a few classes with it, but I know I'll be laughed at or whatever for having something so nice and being unable to hit shit with it.
What do you guys think?
>often hear that you should start with something regular so you will learn to outshoot it before you spend money on better guns. The reasoning is being that as a novice, you won't even notice the accuracy difference.
I have never heard anyone say this. But the MK 23 is a meme gun. You'd be better off with a USP, USP Tactical or USP Expert
>>32272561
whats the difference?
>>32272491
>I often hear that you should start with something regular so you will learn to outshoot it before you spend money on better guns.
Even a $265 Taurus will be able to outshoot 95% of pistol owners.
The Mark 23 is intended as a highly specialized handgun. It offers a specific set of features for a very narrow range of applications, but these features create compromises in the design that make it much LESS suitable for most other tasks. In other words, if you don't plan on being part of a military or police unit that has to be so mobile that rifles are mission-inappropriate, and you need to be able to run your gun suppressed AND you need to be able to operate your gun with gloves on, then this gun will be too big and clunky for the average person's use/preference
If you want to spend $1700 on an HK pistol, get a P7 instead. It's a far more useful pistol for a wider range of purposes. There's nothing wrong with spending a lot of money on your first handgun. You may freak out when you put your first scratch in it, but aside from that, there are no real drawbacks.
>>32273462
As a general piece of advice, if you plan to hang around /k for long, just learn to ignore posts from people who use the word "meme" as a generic adjective for everything.
I was wondering if anyone knew a good way/place to get a Butterfly Knife in germany.
>>32272238
Try your local terror cell
order one on the internet
Why would you want one? They're slow as fuck to deploy, impractical for doing any real work, and you'll probably cut the fuck out of your hands before you'll find it fun to use. Plus you need to pay like 100+ USD to get a half way decent one.
I live in the Cuckiest state to get a gun, New York. Should I buy a random gun that complies with the laws or just wait until I move for college?
>>32272234
>Should I buy a random gun that complies with the laws
Never. Buy a real gun and take it back home with you. As long as you keep your mouth shut no one will ever find it.
Do both
>>32272234
I too live in Jew York, build an AR.
>need to go get ammo

Is this a REGISTRY?!
ATF almost pulled a fast on me guys
I want a decent home defense weapon and or possible in the future conceal carry. I might have some leftover money from income tax to buy a bersa thunder or similar in the 200$ range, but Im not sure if I should save more to buy a nice 9mm like beretta or not. I know .38s ammo is a lil more expensive than 9mm overall, but Im not shooting too much at the moment. But I also want decent stopping power for home, and a gun sooner than later. Which should I buy?
>>32272093
Your pic shows a 9mm and a .380. Do you mean .380 or .38?
You should always save more and get the nicer gun. Stop being a poorfag in your head, or you will always be poor.
>>32272323
Meant a .380 sorry, am newish still
How do I join the Russian Army as a non-Russian? Do they have anything similar to the foreign legion program?
