Long story short, I work at a gun store and at times get good discounts on guns. My boss is saying he can sell me a brand new m&p bodyguard .380 for $200. Should I consider a .380 for concealed carry or just stick to 9mm/.40/.45?
Better ammo choices for 9mm and better bullet. Sounds comfy tho
I don't like the way .380 recoils. It's uncomfortably snappy, even in a Beretta 86.
It's worse than 9mm in terms of power, without saving much size or weight, but it's not so bad as to be unusable. If it were my money, I'd get a Glock 43.
Although, that price is hard to pass on.

Arth thou a brigand? Bear your arms like an honest man! Only thieves and harlots need to hide a dirk! An honest man need not fear ridicule from the village wenches! If the constabulary become involved, keep thy respectful bearing, and proclaim thy loyalty to King Trump!

I'm looking for a pistol cal rifle/carbine under $700 that has the looks of a badass sub machine gun as a range toy. What's out there for me?

What you could do is buy one of those conversion kits you actually put over a handgun, but I can't speak from experience of their reliability as I've never had one of those.
What I can say about actual pistol-chambered carbines though is that I own a cheap Hi-Point carbine in .40 caliber and for as cheap as it is and as bad a rep as Hi-Point has "because cheap", it's honestly never had a malfunction and despite how sort of ugly it is, you get used to it. Its only real downside is how heavy it is. I think it's around the area of 7 lbs. If you want something cheap, start there and work your way up unless that's fine with you. Mine was $235.
New to conceal carry. Just bought my first handgun and holster.
Is this sufficient for a trigger guard?

Noice pistol choice.
>>32331269
Thanks. SIG spoke to me.
Is there any possible way to buy this for less than 600-700 bones? I want the 380 version but Im thinking about saying fuck it and buying the LCP custom instead.
also, post ur pocket pistols
They are tougher to find in 380 for cheaper - I know the 32s are.
My pocket pistol is the derringer

Nice, Ive heard nothing but good things about it. How often do you carry it? I haven't had the pleasure of shooting it yet, but im thinking about buying one on impulse.
>>32331147
Baby Brownings are only ~400. Mine hasn't malfunctioned in the few hundred rounds I've run through it, and .25ACP really isn't that bad if you actually hit the guy.
Would you trade 2 tins of 7n6 and $80 for NIB Norinco Chinese Makarov never before fired in perfect condition. I never plan on shooting it, just keeping it as an invest/collectible. Do you see 7n6 going up in value with it being banned? Also general ammo value thread and new purchase thread
it went up in price the day of it getting banned
going up more? not likely
not really, 5.45 aint near as popular as .30 cal AKs, never really will, and we can still import 5.45, just not 7n6
>>32330941
>>32330926
its hard to find 7n6 for sale though, no online retailer has it in stock... you can only get it though gun broker and armslist, which makes me think it will go up in value
How did you feel the first time you shot with a gun /k/?
I felt like 'cool, I've never done this before'.

might be a captured MG3

or it might be a Yugo MG53 since they sold arms to everyone

Lots of WWII German hardware was sent to the Middle East in the 50s and 60s, hence all the StGs.
