Was browsing the local Cabela's and found one of these. Did bubba do it?
>>33890705
Yes bubba did that, Might be a good project gun if you ever find a nice Intact Arisaka with no mum
now that the dust has settled, can we all agree this is the undisputed best semiauto 22 handgun around?
I miss the tapered pencil profile barrel of the originals.
But yes, the Mk4 is pretty good.
>>33890284
Looks like they may have fixed the shit-assed teardown of the earlier version. If they did it sould be good.
>>33890773
yes they did. they finally adressed one of the biggest issue about the gun.
And looks pretty good, too. Since it's a Ruger mark, it will be surely plenty of aftermarket and various versions of the base gun.
Good job.

Can an educated anon explain what on gods name i am looking at? I know that it's the qaher 313, or irans "5th gen fighter lememe" but why would anyone design it like this?
and notice you don't really sit in it,it's more like you sit on it...

Where is pylons? how will it carry weapons? why does it look like they wanted it to be stealthy but after doing the nose they just said fuck it, batman my shit up?
It's a tiny hobby jet, assuming it ever gets off the ground it will likely have performance inferior to an Aero L-39.
Is there any reason I shouldn't buy a snubnosed revolver as my first gun? Primary purpose is home defense due to a recent break-in attempt.
Pros
>simple to operate, maintain, and load
>can keep it loaded
>like the aesthetic
>won't scare gf
Cons
>small shot capacity
>won't intimidate anyone and would require me to shoot them (I live in California btw)
My budget is sub-$500. Any advice, /k/?
They kick like a mule and are no fun to shoot.
Just get a glock 19
>>33889735
Small revolvers usually have significant kick, making them not super fun to put 200 rounds through, which is what you should be doing as a newly hasguns.
Also
>CA
>can keep it loaded

Did the war in Ukraine prove that any nation can go to war (and remain unharassed by the international community) as long as the troops it sends into combat don't have a national flag on their uniform?
what are you talking about?
Its more complex than that.
Russian soldier never put foot in ukraine.

So most militaries have a belt system. Does a black belt or any high level belt honestly mean someone is more dangerous in a given combat scenario (physical combat) or does the belt system represent something much more abstract?
>>33888434
Just stab'em in the thigh and he'll bleed out just like everyone else
>>33888434
You should have a license to practice martial arts in public. There is no reason for your average citizen to have a black belt.

Now that mag fed shotguns exist, what's the point of tube fed shotguns?
Low pressure loads.
>>33887355

what would it actually take to make a .454 1911
You not being an Assburgered weeaboo.
>>33886181
I don't think they're 1911s at all, for one they appear to be double-action/single-action, for another they don't seem to have a grip safety or the same controls.
Also they appear to be straight blowback or something because the barrels don't seem to recoil or tilt or move in any manner.
How about picking the superior black and white guns
>copypasta'd from the wiki
Both pistols have been modified with pivot-style triggers as opposed to the 1911's usual straight-pull trigger, this modification resembles the Browning Hi-Power pistol.
Both feature custom sight systems; Ebony uses a set of target sights, while Ivory uses a pair of combat sights
Both feature ported muzzle compensators that reduce recoil and counteract muzzle flip. Both barrels are extend through the compensators and are ported to match the cuts in the compensators.
Both use custom slides that have been noticeably thickened and reinforced along the slide travel rails and around the chamber and firing mechanism. The result is a slide that bears a resemblance to SIG-Sauer's M1911 line.
Rails have been bolted to the forward portion of both frames. These rails are used to hold the compensators in place.
Both guns use double-stack magazines with slam-pads.
Both have gold-plated magazine releases, hammers, safety switches and triggers.
Ebony features a hooked, two-handed trigger-guard, while Ivory uses a more traditional rounded trigger-guard.
Both weapons use ergonomic wood grips which are inlaid with portraits of Victorian women; as befits their names, Ebony's is dark-haired, and Ivory's is fair-haired.
Ebony's ejection port is located on the left side of the weapon, as opposed to the right side (as Ebony is meant to be used left-handed, this causes spent brass to be ejected away from Dante.)
Both weapons have an outside extractor, resembling Browning Hi-Power pistols.
Just found out Gander Mountain is having a going out of business sale at all of their stores.
Did anyone go to one today? Any good deals?
I don't usually shop there because they're overpriced, and even if they weren't I prefer going through a smaller LGS near me, but I might go tomorrow and see if they have any good deals. I'm in the market for something in 7.62x51 anyway.
