with the semester ending I now have the time to host the 4th western north carolina meet up!
it's looking like the third or fourth weekend of may
if you want an invite, hit me up at
[email protected]
these meet ups are 18+, hasguns only, single day events
the range is short at 75-100 meters but it is private land, so bring all the shitty half bimetal bullets you want.
I'll provide food, but please bring a water source
I'll also provide targets, and you're welcome to bring your own
bear in mind due to the shortness of the range rifle steel is a no go, and no glass or other pain in the dick to clean up targets.

The one where the bad guys just suddenly forget that they can shoot from further than 5 feet? I know what you're talking about.
Did I do good /k/? Traded my Yugo SKS for it. I know it's a little bubba'd but seems in good condition, quality work. Any one got any info or info graphics related? Shame ammo is so expensive. Recent acquisition thread I guess.

>Hiroo Onoda - hide and seek world champion.
Onoda was a Japanese intelligence officer who served in WWII. He did not surrender until 1974 when he was personally issued orders from his former commanding officer, who was flown out to the Phillipines to officially relieve him of military service. He was pardoned by the Phillipines government despite murdering many police officers and military personnel during his 30+ years of service hiding in the mountains and jungles. Even though he was air dropped leaflets informing him of the Japanese surrender, as well as photograps and letters from his family, he concluded that they were "trickery" to draw him into the open. After being formally discharged by his commanding officer he turned himself over to the Phillipines military. He was taken into custody with his Arisaka rifle and bayonet in perfect working condition, more than 500 rounds of ammunition, 4 hand grenades, an anti personnel mine, maps of the area he stole from a police car, a pistol he looted from a slain policeman, and a can of kerosene he used to set fire to Philippine food storages over the years. He also set boobytraps along trails, which he assisted the Phillipines police force in finding and disposing of. He returned to Japan after a brief detention as a hero, and lobbied for a return to Japanese nationalism until his death in 2014.

Truly This. He operated for decades with almost nothing.
Here have the Nr. 2
>Vasili Blokhin was a Soviet Major-General who served as the chief executioner of the Stalinist NKVD under the administrations of Yagoda, Yezhov and Beria (after their respective falls from power, Yagoda and Yezhov were both ironically executed by Blokhin himself)
>He is recorded as having executed at least 40,000 prisoners personally, by his own hand, including his killing of over 7,000 Polish prisoners of war in a single incident, only pausing to eat and sleep, during the Katyn massacre in spring 1940
>Blokhin initially decided on a minimum quota of at least 300 executions per night, but sometimes exceeding 700; and engineered an efficient system in which the prisoners were individually led to a small room. Blokhin would stand waiting behind the door in his executioner garb: a leather butcher's apron, leather hat, and shoulder-length leather gloves. Then, without a hearing, the reading of a sentence or any other formalities, each prisoner was brought in and restrained by guards while Blokhin shot them once in the base of the skull with a German Walther Model 2 .25 ACP pistol. He had brought an entire briefcase full of his own Walther pistols, since he did not trust the reliability of the Soviet TT-30 for the frequent, heavy use he intended.
>Each night, 25 trenches, measuring eight to ten meters long, were dug to hold the night's corpses, and each trench was covered up before dawn
>Blokhin was forcibly retired in 1953 following Stalin's death that March. After Beria's fall from power in June of the same year, Blokhin's rank was stripped from him. He reportedly sank into alcoholism, went insane, and shot himself in the mouth with his ceremonial service revolver. (Hand nugget)

Thanks for posting this. I remember seeing a thread about him a few yrs back, totally forgot about him.
Did the technology to produce M16 rifles exist during WW1?
Nope.
>>33869533
Yes. But not the knowledge that became the 50 years of fuck that was the M4/M16 platform.
>>33869533
Nope. How much aluminum working do you think there was in 1914?
Would you provide covering fire with your ccw?
>>33869264
It is the logical thing to do, the guy is getting his shit kicked in.
>>33869264
No, you are likely to get shot yourself when more cops arrive and see a civilian brandishing a weapon.
No fuck u and fuck pigs.
I'd jus keep driving and laugh
I like how dat image was originally ment to show hatred towards pigs and now u boot licking faggots try to turn it around.
ITT: Everything about boots.
>Inb4 not weapons related edition.
I'm looking for a pair of Vietnam jungle boots for general hiking and goofing off. Local surplus only has them in wide so trying to find them online. The only good pair I could find were Altama for $100, is this the best out there or are there others?
>>33868717
They're not the absolute worst pair of boots I've ever owned, but godDAYUM they get uncomfortable fast. Good for hikes if you don't mind your feet hurting. Good for anything, really, if you don't mind your feet hurting. They're tough as nails, though.
If you're gonna just goof off or want a disposable pair of hiking boots, grab the Rothco stuff. It's so much cheaper than actual surplus, plus it's not a total fucking bitch to find your size.
>>33869168
Thanks, I think I'll check out the rothco stuff
>>33869168
if you think jungles hurt, you've never had to wear dms boots
....but is not law enforcement/military?
Seems a bit overkill for a civilian to have and if I bought one I'd probably never put it on outside of the home
but I have severe /k/ related autism so naturally i want one just for the sake of owning one and the novelty of it all you know
>puts on tinfoil hat
strangely enough i feel as if id be put on a government watchlist of sorts for buying one out of the blue
Well... I own an M1 that I wear watching war movies. Does that count?
>>33864687
If I had a place all to myself, I'd buy this kind of shit for fun. I'd put it on, and play operator in my house all damn day.
>>33864687
Yes, I have a HHV ATE (lvl IIIA) I bought through Amazon. They removed it but you can still get it through their website.
So I wanna buy my first AK, but the only store in my area only carries C39V2s.
What's the word on these rifles /k/?
>>33886567
I wouldn't.
improper heat treatment
>>33886570
w-what?
Where? Fuck I thought the RAS47 was their shitty AK
>>33886581
I'm not very knoweldgeable on it, but google it.

I haven't seen one of these in a while, and I'm bored out of my mind pulling guard duty.
Bored copfags, check your surroundings and if you're in a safe location, come shitpost and let's piss off lefties and sovereign citizens together.
Also post aesthetic cops and equipment from years gone by

Do you use firearm specific solvents and lubricants or do you improvise?
I have a bottle of CLP in my range bag for a pinch, but normal care consists of:
- Zippo Lighter Fluid (works wonders as a solvent, great for getting into trigger mechanisms)
- Pennzoil Synchromesh Manual Transmission Oil (put it in my car, put it on my guns, great low weight oil that spreads on thin, doesn't gunk up, and protects the finish when stored)
- WD-40 (NOT A LUBRICANT. If I'm out in the rain for any prolonged period of time, I'll spray down my gun with a quick coat as it's hydrophobic, but this always requires a prompt cleaning at home or else it can turn into a slime that traps debris)
What does the rest of /k/ use?
>>33885479
WD-40 Specialist is 10/10 for storage/rust/water protection, I just use CLP for everything else.
I use ballistol for every single purpose. I'm far too lazy to give a fuck beyond that.

Retards are gonna think what they're gonna think and won't be swayed from their position. Best way to deal with them is get everyone that's not indoctrinated on our side.
There's one guy who posts most of the shit.

Any thoughts on this rifle from those who've owned or fired them? Looks pretty nice to be honest.
