At what point is a group of people considered their own race?
Beyond color, of course.

Whatever you feel like.
>>2316287
This.
Race is pretty meaningless of a term. Who is considered "white" can range from just Germanics to including Arabs and Indian Aryans depending on who you talk to.
Ethnicity is a better way to separate groups because it actually takes into account real differences in culture, location, etc. as opposed to just physical traits that one deems to be of certain races arbitrarily.
Another thread about races. Color me surprised.
What are some notable battles where "badass" warriors with years of experience got rekt by some fodder with better equipment?
There is nothing more arousing than technological superiority.

We(French) are the Franks
>It is said that Northmen of a beauty and size of body never seen among the Frankish people were killed in this battle.
Einhard, Annals of Fulda, Year of our Lord 884
>The origin of the Franks is due to these events. They had Priam as their first king. It is writtenin books of history how afterwards they had Frigas as king. After this, they divided into two parts. One part went to Macedonia and they are called Macedonians after the people by whom they were received and the region of Macedonia. They had been invited to give assistance to the Macedonians, who were being overwhelmed by neighbouring peoples. Afterwards when united with that people, they gave birth to a great many offspring and from that stock the Macedonians were made into the strongest of fighters. In the future, in the days of King Phyliphy [Philip] and his son Alexander, report confirms what kind of courage they possessed. For the other part, which advanced from Frigia [Phrygia], had been deceived by the fraud of Olexo [Ulysses] and, though not taken captive, had nevertheless been cast out from there. Wandering through many regions with their wives and children they chose from amongst themselves a king by the name of Francio; from him they are called Franks. Francio, it is said, was very strong in war, and for a long time fought with a great many peoples, but in the end, after devastating part of Asia, he entered Europe and settled between the Rhine or the Danube and the sea.
Fredegar, History of the Franks, II, 4-5
The founding of Troy happens to coincide exactly with the time the first galleys were made. Considering the early foundation of Troy, the most likely of the two Indo-European paternal haplogroups would be R1b-M269 or L23.

3. Haplogroup M269 in West-Europe
In the north of France, haplotype frequencies vary between 39% in Paris and 47% in Lille

Are there any examples in history of a smaller state winning a war against a big one purely by tactics. Or is it always about the numbers in the end?

Those are all memes. Vietnam was a medial loss, during colonialism it was about technology and Winter War was a loss.

Genociding turkish muslims after the fall of the ottoman empire?
Maybe, but /pol/ wouldn't say so.
I have no idea how the ottoman empire treated the christians in the balkans while they controlled the area, but i do know that they were kinda bad, especially in the latet parts of their rule, so maybe the local christian masses had a reason to be pissed at getting colonized by muslim turks and act accordingly

During the sultanate of women period in the ottoman empire royal expenditure rose so much due to the lavish lifestyle of the sultan's mothers that it became a meme which is still seen as true today.
Also corruption increased a lot.
What I mean to say is that when women rule hedonism quickly follows.

what does this have to do with memes?
>that feel when a multi-religious and culturally interesting Central Asia will never exist again
>that feel when all the powerful merchant cities of the Silk Road are now nothing but dust or buried beneath the hideous tower dwellings of Russian invaders
>that feel when what was once once of the prosperous regions on Earth is now such a backwater that to hear news from it once a year is a miracle
A day will come when sacred Troy shall perish, And Priam and his people shall be slain.

"As seen through the speed with which the transgender liberation movement has broken into the mainstream, the newest axiom of the progressive movement is set in stone. This axiom is best represented through the aphoristic catchcry “born this way”. The idea that a person cannot be blamed for their accidents of birth is approaching a hurdle that the left may be unable not to clear.
"That hurdle is moving beyond demanding the cultural acceptance of queer peoples and communities – the harmless minorities who have no place as honest members of traditional normalism – to demanding a revolution in our attitudes towards those who are of genuine concern to us, but are no more to blame for their predicament than I am for the colour of my skin. Although my arguments can be applied to the broader category of riskful perverts, I am here thinking first and foremost of paedophiles."
Anyone think anything about this?
Tbh there is nothing wrong with fucking children, animals or corpses.

Of course.
I was checking out my groceries at walmart and the clerk was a really gay black gay. like really gay, wearing a candy necklace and he was really slow. it was like he was too busy being flamboyant to check out my fucking groceries and it took forever. it pissed me off. that's when I started hating gay people.

What is it with Asia and harems? From China to India to the Middle East, you find mention of emperors with thousands of concubines throughout Asian history. Why was this, what purpose did it serve that it keeps turning up constantly for thousands of years, and why didn't Europe seem to develop prolific harems?
>>2315656
>What is it with Pre-colombian America and harems?
>What is it with African cultures and harems?
>What is it with pagan Europe and polygamy
>what purpose did it serve
it didn't, they merely did it because they could. Yet more wasteful spending of public money on themselves to show off their wealth and power, no different from building an unbelievably opulent palace like Versailles.
>why didn't it happen in europe

Basically after the fall of the Gupta Empire, India resembled Europe in that it was a bunch of states with similar yet diverse cultures, sometimes ruled under smaller Empires like the Karkota Empire or the Harsha Dynasty. Then the Umayyads invaded and achieved some success but were beaten back by the Rajputs. And then some Turkic cunt called Mahmud of Ghazni pretty much tried again for Islam and succeeded in Northern India, setting the footstep for further Muslim expansion.
