I'm trying to convert people I know into Linux users to save the world from Microsoft.

What is the best distro for beginners to get a good introduction to Linux?

Not Elementary or anything that won't teach them anything or impress them at all. I'm thinking Ubuntu or Mint.

It's no secret that the HTC 10 isn't selling well, and T-mobile just pulled it from their stores. Does this mean that the low demand for the 10 at its current pricepoint would mean a further price drop in the near future? It's $600 on htc right now but I want to know if I could realistically get it even cheaper than that if I wait.

Which would you buy and why?
Starting to feel a little buyers remorse for my redmi 3 pro. Battery life is amazing, but camera sucks, I get the occasional stutter, I can see individual pixels from standard viewing distance, and I still haven't used more than half the internal storage.

Would I have been netter off with the LeTV x600? Would have cost the same as a redmi 3 (non pro) but would have been better in every way except battery life for me.

What are some other options around that price point? I'm considering gifting my redmi and buying something new

/o/ here, i want to record a cockpit type of view video in my car but was having some difficulties when i tried last. I used a galaxy s5 paired with a suction cup mount to try to record a video but it recorded way too shaky.What options do i have? I noticed there was a "go pro" on ebay for like 29 bucks but not sure how well it would work. what do? I don't need super high quality, just something basic to record 1080p
