why would you even want to overclock for OP? a I7 6700k will run every game on all resolutions fine.
Ok, now run p95 for an hour to check stability.

Software is not a product anymore. It's a service. Deal with it.

>>55675437
opera doesnt utilize multiple cpu cores and has so many internal problems which are fixed on chromium. if you fix everything wrong with firefox you'd end up having a borwser like chromium anyway.
can someone explain this please,i think its the motherboard

PANIC
>KERNEL PANIC
Broken kernel. Could be the disk, your install, or something similar. It just can't find itself during the boot process. I'd suggest redownloading the iso

My max budget is $1270. The monitor on the list and Windows 8 shouldn't have been there.
>>55675635
Alright. I would recommend getting two 4gb RAM sticks so you can run them in dual channel, instead of a single 8gb stick. If you plan on expanding to 16gb in the future though, then stick with the single 8gb stick.
It's also nice to have an aftermarket cooler for the CPU. It's not necessary in this case since you can't overclock that CPU, but a bigger cooler will run noticeably more quiet than the stock heat sink (and cooler). A 212 Evo is cheap and works well.
If you think you'll get a second graphics card in the future, find a new motherboard with a second PCIE slot. If you only planning on running just one, then 1 slot is fine.
A 1080 will run you over $600, if you want that extra performance bad enough. I don't think it's worth the extra $200 though.
And personally, I think you should find a motherboard that's larger than micro. I feel like a smaller motherboard will run hotter, and be more prone to failure. Since your case is big enough, mini or ATX will fit.
In order to match an overclocked GTX 1060 in Firestreak Extreme you are going to need to overclock a RX 480 to around 1430Mhz based on a quick check of scores and what this guys graph says.
http://youtu.be/Kh0aK4q7Foo?t=337
http://www.3dmark.com/fs/9359331
Also that means more power draw and heat above what a GTX 1060 draws.
Apart from the DX12/Vulkan shenanigans I don't see much advantage in going the RX 480 route. Also nearly all of the Non-Ref cards for the RX 480 are delayed until August 5th.
hmm a graphics card thread that's not saying bad things? are you trolling me
>>55675303
I'm just trying to make a choice based on several factors. The GTX 1060 clearly wins on it's performance to cost ratio alone. That is if you do not factor in additional costs like Gsync if you go this route. That plus the whole DX12/Vulkan thing has me sitting on the fence. They both have their relative merits and downsides. I really don't believe there is a winner or loser here. There are too many factors involved and unknowns. Clearly the GTX 1060 has an immediate win over the RX 480. But it will be interesting to see how this pans out over the following months. I still cannot decide which way to jump as a stop gap GPU.
>>55675386
get the 1060, don't get the 480 if you're concerned about heating and power issues, gsync doesn't matter either
