So we have Pokemon Go, it's augmented reality to a point, but then I realized, this game is dumb, but it is fun. There's no real challenge to this.

Now wait a moment, I'm not here for a /v/ post I'm proving a point and I need /g/'s specific help on this.

So I thought to myself, Yugioh as a whole, has WAY more potential. But I realized that a real duel disk would be pretty damn expensive. What could we do to make this either easier, or something else? How hard would it be to make holograms, or even as similar as google glass (see Zexal) to make this work?

How expensive and who do you think as a company would do the best at it?

It's like this now. We have all these OSes, OSX, Windows 7, Windows 10, GNU/LINUX, 1000 ditributions of GNU/Linux, Android, .... and it's a mess.

The proof that it's a mess is that you constantly makes threads about which OS you should install...

It's like in the old days when we had AltaVista and AskJeeves.

Now Fuchsia OS comes. Google makes an OS. From scratch. No more legacy, outdated GNU code. This is code written with "2016" in mind. Devices and PCs are so fast today that programmers agree we would all benefit if an OS was written from scratch with the power of today's machines in mind.

GNU/Windows/... the base code for these was written when the most powerful PC was multitudes slower than an average "chink shit" smart phone today.

So Google realized they have to write something from scratch.

This is like Google.com all over again

In 5 years, you'll all be usuing Fuchsia OS and we will be making threads like "dude remember "GNU" ? Hahahhah install Gentoo!! remember Getnoo?? LOLL... and remember you had to use Microsoft Windows for games? bahahahah"

Oh, we will have a laugh.

Are Sony smartphones any good or bad?

I havent bought a smartphone since Galaxy S3 and it died today so I am looking to buy a new phone and the Xperia XZ Compact caught my eye. It looks a bit similar yet chunky and good to hold kind of thing.

I really have no idea what I'm doing though, is there a buyers guide to smartphones in 2016 somewhere?

What's the best way to get images onto my pc from my phone /g/ ?
I fucking hate having to drag and drop over USB because my phone seems to think it should save photos in random locations. Google photos is all that has worked so far but I'm trying to move away from it. I don't like Dropbox either. I'd rather just locally save pictures on my phone and they're sent directly to my pc

What moments have you had where you decided to stop helping someone and let them wade in their own retardation?

I helped two separate people pick parts for their PCs based on their budget a few years ago. I'd just quickly chuck something together, take into consideration whatever specific needs they had for performance and pick a sensible case to put it in. However, both of them decided to change from whatever case I had chosen to pic related. Now, to be fair, the first one I helped who did this was a teenager still in highschool, so that was on the some level understandable. However, the second guy was in his fucking 30s. How does a grown ass man choose something so blatantly tasteless and cheap looking? This guy also couldn't grasp the concept of SSDs and changed the 128GB ssd + 1TB Black combo to a 3TB Green Drive I think it was. I just told him I was busy after that.

If I want to learn to program(for the sake of learning to hack websites and computers themselves) what programming language should I start off with? I know just a little bit HTML. Would python be a good programming language to start off with? Or should I learn javascript first?
