both have higly-reflective screens
both throttles, but xps will throttle less
both have bad keyboards compared to chinkpads, but makbook > xps here
no pgup/pgdn/home keys - how they even may considered as "programming" laptops
bigger bezzels on macbook but because 16:10 their sizes are pretty much the same
shitty wifi and coil whine on xps
worse ssd write speeds on xps
shitty quality controll + preinstalled bloatware on xps
worse battery life on xps
1000 battery cycles on macbook vs 300 cycles on xps
If i could get one for free i'd picked macbook, but actually all today notebooks are total shit.

The one that doesn't come with Windows 10 and/or doesn't have secureboot locked enabled. If the MacBook is capable of running Fedora and the XPS is not then it's obvious.
