Sup /g/, went to bed last night while W10 was installing updates (I know I know), woke up this morning and the PC was seemingly dead.

Every time I hit the powerswitch the fans spun for like 1 second then stopped, wouldn't even boot to post. Tried switching RAM slots, same shit, then I tried putting in an old GPU (with no 6pin) and the PC booted up. So then I put my 1060 back in and it went back to doing the same shit.

After that I tried a different PCI slot, this time the PC seemingly booted but the fans on the GPU weren't spinning and there was no video.

Then finally I got a different 6pin and cable and used a different slot on my modular PSU, and the PC has now booted and seems to be running fine.

From this info I have no idea whether it is the PSU or the GPU, or maybe even the mobo that's fucko'd. The GPU is about 2 weeks old while the rest of the components are ~3 years.

Anyone had the same issue?

Possibly the happiest day in a while, but I don't feel it. The thought of not being a poorfag is overwhelming. To all of you niggaz without a job - don't worry, you're gonna make it if you work for it long enough.

Alienware 13, 15 and 17 Announced.

All have Quad Core CPUs, the 15 and 17 can be overclocked to levels similar to the desktop i7-6700K.
Desktop GTX 1060 on 13, GTX 1070 on 15 and GTX 1080 on 17. Nvidia doesn't make a separate M for Laptops anymore, all are now Desktop GPUs.
DDR4 RAM up to 3200MHz.
PCIe SSD + Hard Drive
All have at least 9 (13 advertised) hours battery life for video playback and web browsing. 99Wh on both 15 and 17 models.

I'm ordering the Alienware 15, it has the best performance/portability on any laptop, and it's thinner and lighter than the Thinkpad T60 that /g/ praises so much with much better battery life.

How do you guys make webms? Let's say I want to make some reaction webms from a YouTube video. I'll download the video with youtube-dl, but then how do I cut the part I need and export as webm? Is there a FOSS video editor that could do that or is it done with ffmpeg?
