is this really the best free anti-virus, other than common sense?
this is straight off the wiki. I want to know because I'm planning on not using common sense today.
here they are:
COMODO Antivirus
COMODO Antivirus is a module part of the proprietary, free Comodo Internet Security suite. There is a paid version called 'COMODO Internet Security Pro' but it is more designed for computer illiterates with services such as 'GeekBuddy' which is a remote-support service.
Malwarebytes
Malwarebytes is a proprietary antivirus program popular in various security communities as a backup scanner. It is offered both as freeware and commercial software. The free version of Malwarebytes allows the user to manually scan for and remove malware, but a license must be purchased if the user wishes to take advantage of its scheduled scanning and real-time protection features.
ClamWin Antivirus
ClamWin is an open-source antivirus developed in C++ that focuses on being lightweight and efficient. Please note that it does not include an on-access real-time scanner. You need to manually scan a file in order to detect a virus or spyware.
I already have Malwarebytes but whats so great about comodo or clamwin?
I plan on torrenting games and shit later so I want something good and not the built in windows 10 anti-virus
If you get viruses in the current year you need to be euthanized

What kind of tech do you use to help with whatever you study? Besides your laptop/desktop that is.
I was considering getting a tablet with a decent resolution screen for viewing online textbooks and pdfs with a lot of graphics.

>you don't actually need Intel i3 to use i3wm
I found that out the hard way.
>you don't actually need a GTX 1080 for 1080p

All the benefits of garbage collection and essentially no negatives. Why don't you code modern C++ yet /g/?
Old: >>56391453
It's not even past bump limit nigger
>modern C++
You mean Rust? C++ doesn't have borrowing.
>thread allocated too early
>yet to be properly deallocated
>loss of image quality
>misleading comments
so this is "modern C++"
this site literally archives threads off 4chan and makes them look like they are forum threads. it even has an ad pop-up and makes you disable your adblocker.

Is it just me, or is Google Maps' new 3D view goddamn amazing? Especially from inside a browser. Then again, maybe I'm just behind the times.
>>56394083
Clarification because I realized right after posting that my wording was confusing: I mean especially *considering that it's* through a browser.

Why are you looking at Tokyo? Weebo?

Because it's one of the world's biggest cities and an impressive 3D view? What should I look at, Fargo or some shit?

I've mostly written bash aliases and shortcuts, and a few small scripts that backup stuff on my desktop to my home server

My own image viewer.
For Linux I don't need it, but the windows viewer is so fucking horrible (doesn't even have support for EXIF rotation).

It's usually some web scraper that automatically downloads some shit
Rather than doing it myself I spend an hour writing a script that does it, end up tossing it somewhere and forgetting about it. Then when I need it again I rewrite the whole thing anyways even though the old version works perfectly fine because autism.
So can you just fake it till you make it in the IT field?
i don't know any coding but i made it to /g/.
you can do it if you believe it.
i give people wrong advice on purpose
Not really. You can fake like 20% and still make it though.
So some tech you tubers are talking about this new 'free-speech' social network called Gab. Look at the fucking logo.
