Small, cheap, portable, 8 hour battery life, libreboot, tailsOS on a USB stick, 8gb RAM and wireless N wifi, great laptop keyboard.

Only thing I can think of, is the cpu is slower then anything else I own. Even my phone.

What other reason should I not get one?

Because no one buys garbage products like this to begin with, let alone review them.

Just give it about 1 month for the controllers to fail then check the reviews again.
>>
>>56391875

Mushkin is still around?

I remember Linus used to shill them a lot back when he was still with NCIX, but I haven't heard that brand name uttered once since.

Is Ubuntu just a fork of Debian?

There doesn't really seem to be any advantage to using Ubuntu over Debian. They're basically the same except Ubuntu seems to have more bugs.

What am I missing?

Ubuntu actually has support
literally the only usable linux distro and not a basement dweller meme
>>
>>56391854
You can add ppa on Ubuntu
Also debian doesnt include non free drivers on installation causing some drivers incompatibility
>>
>>56391854
The support for:
>Laptops
>graphic driver implementation
>X11 update
>Kernel 4x.x.36
>More support for newer hardware
>Less conservative but more patched
>Better implementation of open source intel drivers
Yes buggier, but security is much stronger then debian. I mean using a 3.16 kernel is terrible to keep using for 2 years. We are at 4.4.x.x

Someone needs to tell the manager that updates broke Xorg config again.

My local dollar store has a register that runs off a Linux kernel of some sort. And my local Dunkin donuts does the same as OP. 3 monitors with the menu on them. I was in there when they happened to be updating their menu with new stuff. They actually had windows and Ubuntu. I saw the center screen flash Grub real quick.
