What was it anons? The OS that you were excited to see be released? A certain version of windows or os x? An upcoming Linux distro?
For me it was windows 7. That jump from XP to 7 was amazing if you skipped vista. I remember getting all excited over something as silly as windows aero since I skipped vista.

First was Vista because "OMG PRETTY UI!!!!" I went so far as to spend a couple hours in Photoshop on Vista beta to make a wallpaper for my PSP that had the glass task bar on the bottom and the start menu orb with the PSP logo on top of a wallpaper I had also made prior to that. It was as perfect as possible and I even made glass panes that lined up with the PSP main menu icons and date/time/battery on the top right of the screen. Windows 7 was just as exciting because of the performance gains and stability.
Pic related, similar design, but not as accurate to Aero.

From a programming standpoint, why do Devs have such a hard time making DX12 work correctly?
the 0.1 and 1% lows are incredibly bad; bordering on unplayable.
preforming worse than dx11 in every aspect.

Also probably because AMD's shitty architecture, every console to pc port performs like trash on both AMD and Nvidia hardware, meanwhile games that target Nvidia run wonderful like the latest Gears of Wars.

I'm still grandfathered on Unlimited data I use like 60GB a month. If I want to upgrade my phone is my only option to buy a device from a third party? I have a G5 at the moment but the lack of the root is really making me want to switch to something else.

You can upgrade with Device Payment like everyone else. Basically we take the retail price of the device and divide it by 24 months. Usually around $28ish for the high end phones. This doesn't create a contract beyond the promise to pay the retail price.
For your plan it is a flat addition of the monthly payments. Still a lot more forgiving then straight out purchase. Everyone else gets a discount to their line access making it nearly on par if not a smidge cheaper then a 2yr agreement.
Just keep your usage below 100gb. Those using that much and above are simply being disconnected from Verizon.

I'm about to have a complete mental breakdown. Programming is a fucking meme unless you're naturally gifted. I've been at it for 3+ years now - it's always been bad for me but these past couple weeks have been the worst.

My poor mental condition broke into my physical condition this weekend and I was sick all Sat/Sun. I woke up Monday with very little sleep on the verge of having a panic attack and called in to take the first half of the day off. When I got there after lunch finally, my boss had the most cold 'you worthless piece of shit' look on his face at me. I tried to explain that I called in because the work load is too much and the anxiety is mentally destroying me, but the words got caught in my throat and I realized if I talked any more I'd start crying (old habit, I've never actually cried at work but I can tell when I'm about to if I don't stop talking immediately). Boss said our company is 'more lax than most companies' and 'the whole industry is like this'. 'When I was your age, I did this schedule for 6 months straight sometimes'.
I tried to breathe in a bit and calmed down a bit, and tried to chuckle and say 'if I had to do this for 6 months straight I would quit', hoping he'd laugh and reassure me that we just had to push through this month's project or something.

I can't, and I'm not. I don't know what to do. I worked retail in my teens and it was less stressful (slightly, I know retail is shit) but then I'd have to move back in with my parents, which would probably cancel out the stress.
I'm legitimately autistic (my shrink in my teens diagnosed me as HFA) but I doubt I can ever qualify for bux since in the government's view, I've demonstrated an ability to work.
Today I'm taking lots of (prescribed) Clonazepam to calm my nerves for tomorrow, but I feel like I'm going to just break down and start sobbing into my keyboard one of these days.

Just work. And then when you're done present them with it. I've had to do this before. Some managers don't know that they're fucking up your concentration. Just shut it out any way you can and focus.

Explain to me why 4chan encrypts their disks/SSDs, uses a VPN, and doesn't use social media while extolling the virtues of Wikileaks for violating the privacy of government officials?
