From a programming standpoint, why do Devs have such a hard time making DX12 work correctly?
the 0.1 and 1% lows are incredibly bad; bordering on unplayable.
preforming worse than dx11 in every aspect.

explain?
Even the best of the best assembly programmers will have troubles trying to outperform Nvidia's compiler.
Also probably because AMD's shitty architecture, every console to pc port performs like trash on both AMD and Nvidia hardware, meanwhile games that target Nvidia run wonderful like the latest Gears of Wars.

is the dx11 software Nvidia uses that good?

Consoles are PCs tho

When your Software Engineer team has direct communication with your Hardware Engineer team then you have direct low level access to the hardware itself by people who made it.

Its still fresh and needs some kinks worked out. Also the dx12 implemented in this is probably an after thought. Has anything been made with dx12 as the cornerstone yet?

They hold technology back by being shitty.
You cant have competition if one of the competitors shits themselves and cries all day.
