Who's on Usenet over here?
I'd like to try it but I'm not sure it'll suit my needs: I'm not looking to download the latest tv show episode or the newest movie. As I'm a binger, I tend to download whole season or even whole shows so I can watch them completely.
How does Usenet work for this? I know that providers have a maximum retention time for binary file but what are the chances that old stuff will be uploaded again after it expires?
Are there any providers that focus on tv shows, movies, or music specifically?
Does the provider geographical location matter compared to where I am or not?
im cucked by my isp they don't allow newsgroup anymore :(

I blame shit OEM's but you're not wrong. Apple has a better botnet for business now.
Yes, we know everything already is from China but in here we discuss the no/low-name cheap shit you see on Gearbest, AliExpress, eBay and similar sites.

You can kill perl coders with it.
Both OSX and Linux are based on Unix, then why OSX is infinitely more user-friendly? Linux coders are too arrogant to make it simple?
Money.
>>57161616
linux isn't based on unix

UX UI design is field of its own. Artists who design the interface with art tools, never writing a single line of code, have to be hired. Apple probably has dozens or hundreds of them with decades of experience working for them.
I highly doubt any artists go into linux development expecting to fix up the UI, unless they're paid.
What happens if I do?

welcome to 1995
A lot of older pre-2010 issues are available on torrents. Newer ones too if you know where to look.
I was seeding a lot of old ass 80s mags. One of them had a few spoopy phreaking stories, like calling government agencies and other top secret numbers.
