I'm trying to create a 30 second video made from a single frame of PNG file.
This is the FFMPEG command line I've googled my way to, but it doesn't work
>ffmpeg -r 1/5 -pattern_type glob -i vitagamesyotsubab4.png output.webm
It's for a general in /vg/, I'm trying to save some bandwidth costs with the more efficient Webm so we don't have to upload 4 MB jpeg images constantly.
Any encoders around who can chip in?

If you want ARM you're going to have to go OpenWRT which is easier.
Alternatively you can go with a chinese AIO boxes you find on ebay or get an intel nuc that suports aes-ni ( I have one and it works gucci on that department).

How viable is Hackintosh nowadays? Do you still have to buy really niched hardware?
I've been using a Macbook Pro and Windows 10 on my desktop for the last few years and I'm starting to realize that there really isn't much of a point in using Windows over MacOS for every daybuse other than video games and some stray exe files you can run in a VM, so I'm going to pick up a Thinkpad and run Linux on it and might build a Hackintosh and dual boot Sierra and Windows 10 on it.
Are modern GPUs supported on Hackintosh? Can I use the legit copy of Sierra I have on my Macbook or does it need to run some special version of MacOS?

However it's a RAM hog and power management is a bit of a bitch. I've used it for a while but then I decided to get through the issues I had with linux at some point, most of which have been either fixed or have a fix that I just didn't consider.

You're best off buying specific hardware that's well supported and need to mess around with third party bootloaders and kext files.
You can (or rather have to) download macOS from the App Store using an Apple computer and burn it to external media using the hackintosh utility.
Once you've set everything up correctly, things should work well and you'll be able to update the software normally. Things like FaceTime and iMessage don't usually work on Hackintosh.

Yes it still exists but it's like Usenet, a little out of fashion.
There's quite a bit of channels on rizon for Chinese cartoon, and a few for western shit.
Don't remember any specific channel though, just know they're out there. I'm more of a torrent guy.

Could you spend a year only using a Core 2 Duo machine?
You get to build it or customize it yourself if you want, but you have to use a Core 2 Duo CPU (no quad-core, no Core 2 Extreme).
Last year, my monitor blew up and for a couple weeks searching for a replacement, I used my SL9400 C2D laptop. Of course for some tasks I just connected to my desktop, but it actually worked quite well for most tasks on the system itself.
