Yea, luckily I was able to contact him through eBay. Apparently he set iHome notification on and it somehow didn't reset with the phone. And the Siri turning itself back on is the phone auto updated from 10.1 to 10.2, with every update Apple turns Siri back on. Kinda boring ending but, was kinda interesting.

I have read this statement in the last couple of months on /g/ a few too many times.
Let me tell you something: you can. Easily. In fact you can steam 1080p video from youtube on a C2D without any issues.
If your computer has a CPU from this generation and you are getting choppy video that is on you. Your OS is not configured properly, or you CPU is overheating.
You can actually stream 1080p even on a Core 2 (not duo) just the same.
A Pentium 4 will handle 1080p video if you know how to set things up properly. Streaming 720p should be quite possible, and 1080p netflix will come through too. And none of that is taking GPU acceleration into consideration.

is 30 too old to start learning programming and/or networking and find a career in the tech industry?
my work history is mostly minimal wage cucking unrelated to tech, up until this point
I don't have any university qualifications so I'll probably have to go back to school at some point in addition to working full or part time.
I'm more worried that given my age I will have a hard time competing with millenialshits for junior, entry level positions or even internships.
