Has anyone had any experiences with bumper style smartphone cases? I've always been a rugged, full enclosure type of guy myself and I'm considering making the switch to bumper because I want to actually see what my phone looks like.
I'm worried about the durability of these cases though, can anyone attest to whether they provide any level of protection?

I find that rubbery bumperish cases with a clear back work much better. The normal bumper cases don't seem to resist impacts as much and dent easy if not made of rubber.

By rubber, do you mean rubber padding on the inside of the bumper or the bumper itself is entirely made of rubber?
The one I'm looking at is an aluminum bumper with rubber padding on the insides.

I think you've got that the wrong way around, NVidia were the ones with solder issues but that was long ago and has been remedied so it's not worth remembering.

APUs have always had bad Linux support. APUs make up a relatively small percentage of the market and Linux APU users are an even smaller percentage. I can't imagine it would be in any way defensible to spend dev time on them, especially the older ones using the ancient as shit GPU architecture.

Just went to change my Shadowplay settings, which requires running Geforce Experience. It wouldn't allow me to access any settings, instead forcing me to update.
The new update doesn't work without a login. Why do I need a fucking login to run a graphics card program on my computer?
I'm switching to AMD next time.

I think it might be possible since I remember uninstalling v3 and downloading v2 which worked until it was forced to update.
Settings update, drivers, etc won't work but I just used it for fps counter/recording and anymore driver "updates" are gonna gimp my 750ti anyway.
