What did they mean by this?

The same as when you last posted this yesterday.
And the same as when you posted this the day before
And exactly the same as when you posted this the day before that.

That's actually a nice case desu
So I recently moved into a new apartment. The landlord had a previously set up internet connection that runs via a 2-year contract. So when I moved in, he decided that it will continue to run in his name and that I will pay monthly for the usage of it (as I am the only one using it).
> the router stands in my apartment
> contract runs in the name of my landlord
> I am using the internet
So will he know what websites I am visiting? Would be a little awkward as there is quite some (casual) porn, 4chan, craiglist sites.
I don't think so, Anon. Don't be paranoid.
>>57396324
I mean he would need to go into the apartment to get into the router-settings and perhaps from there he can see a list of sites I visited? Seems to be a lot of work.
>>57396361
Why don't you check if it's (easy) possible? Type in 192.168.0.1, login and look if there is such an option. Do you know wich router this is?
Also, does he look like a tech illiterate?
My account was hacked, what are the relevant steps I should take?
install gentoo

Call Sony faggot.
Pray they didn't make any purchases.
Why weren't you using 2 factory authentication?

Obviously you're ignoring a female rat. Unwise anon women, even rat women, are always right
>>57396181
This is what I get at start. Just promoted to login. Since my username didn't work, I tried root and it worked.
All this time I've been waiting for a R6 and now they try to get away with this SHIT.
According to the Swedes, a castrated version of a Define S, which is already a castrated version of a R5 should be a best-seller? Without a fucking USB-C, in 2016? With worse temps and noise due to smaller fans? For about the same price, also? Now I wonder what the fuck were they thinking?
I foresee bankrupt.
Goodbye Fractal Design, you're not gonna be missed.
I really, REALLY don't care about your autisticly perfect computer case, feck off.
R5 is pretty much perfect, no need for a R6.
>>57396162
You're missing the point here.
They are basically asking money for having done nothing but stripping down way more practical cases. After an year of """"""""R&D"""""""", this is unacceptable.
Less is more my ass.

Daily reminder of what size USB stick you could get in say the early-mid 2000s.
Some old fags probably know the exact year.
2003 - 128 MB
2006 - 1 GB
>>57395803
My dad had a 32MB that got corrupt and stopped working a couple of years ago.
He just used it for copying invoices and stuff around and uses a 1TB external for everything else. I'm still amazed it lasted so long

Hey /g/
I have a bit of an audio dilemma you one of you might be able to shine some light on - I want to be able to play two audio channels simultaneously on my on HTS.
My amp is fairly entry level so it doesn't have an audio mixing feature, but I figured there might be another workaround that doesn't involve a receiver upgrade.
Bit of a tech support question I know but I genuinely don't know where else to ask. Tried Google to no avail. Pic related seems like it could work (a cable with two inputs and one output) but it doesn't seem to exist.
Why not multiplex both inputs and have whatever it is you're using as output to run both channels at the same time?
>>57395781
My el cheapo receiver can't play 2 channels at once
>>57395761
Build that cable. It's really easy. For testing you don't even need to solder it. Just take 1 or 2 cm of the plastic wrapping off and mush similar wires together. If it works well, go ahead and solder that son of my wife

Since this is technology board and only consumer threads exist, I decided to make a tech thread.

>>57395651

then you probably shouldn't buy one. Buy things you need, not what /g/ memers tell you to get.

True, always follow instinct.

also, no. They are no meme. At least not if you have use for it.

The Future and Finance Forum on Artificial Intelligence was held in Zurich in the last few days, hosting a number of known researchers and experts in the AI field.
When asked about what comes after those specialized technologies that will enable us to do near-realtime analyses on datasets that took hours or days in the last years he replied with:
>In the next few years both algorithms and hardware will be become much better and open up even more analytical potential. This will accelerate more and more and then, with the developments in the last years [see Alpha Go that beat a Go champion years ahead of earlier projections] recent estimates from fellow researchers put the Singularity at 2029, a full 16 years earlier than what Ray Kurzweil predicted in 2005.
The more important question will be what happens at that time but honestly, nobody really knows.
While this might be a bit optimistic, it shows a tendency of narrowing in on earlier predictions as more knowledge about the way towards them becomes available.
What do you think about the current state of AI and developments towards the Singularity?
You're a retard

All I see are people asking for either cheap stuff or wich macbook to choose.
Can't manage to find something better than the razer blade or Dell XPS 15.

inb4 laptop cost a shit ton
inb4 razer has a gay logo

What interface does the new laptop gtx 1060 use?
Can I upgrade my alienware m18x to that or should I go with something like an r9 m290x?
>>57395488
if you're using your alienware to play games mostly, I wouldn't recommend going for a razer blade then. They're probably heating up really fast as any "portable and thin" "gaming" laptops.
Build your own computer. Buying one is foolish.
