I'm trying to create a 30 second video made from a single frame of PNG file.
This is the FFMPEG command line I've googled my way to, but it doesn't work
>ffmpeg -r 1/5 -pattern_type glob -i vitagamesyotsubab4.png output.webm
It's for a general in /vg/, I'm trying to save some bandwidth costs with the more efficient Webm so we don't have to upload 4 MB jpeg images constantly.
Any encoders around who can chip in?
winbaby is too stupid to properly use ffmpeg and even more stupid by failing making a proper screenshot...ffmpeg [params]* [-i input [input related params]*]* [params]* output

Anon please no bullying.
I just want to help Japanese moot conserve some bandwidth in the long run.
>when you encounter someone who browses the same general as you outside of the general's board and you don't know whether to out yourself as a fellow browser
Always a bizarre feeling.

What does this even mean?

Weebs confirmed for tech illiterate
filename related....

I think I figured it out by deleting some of the parameters and converting the PNG to 8 bit PNG.
>ffmpeg -i vitagamesyotsubab4.png output.webm
But it's an incredibly bitrate starved, and the colours aren't reproduced right.
Either way it looks like it won't be useful anyhow, since 4chan gives this error:
>output.webm: Video too large (video: 6194x1497px, max: 2048x2048px
So Webm won't be feasible solution.

so downsize the source file you autistic mouth breather
>>57403035
Can't do that. It's a game list for the general.

The only real solution is for Hiroyuki to support Wavelet based image formats which can replace jpeg for these specific niche scenarios.
>>57402462ffmpeg -loop 1 -i (Image.png> -t 30 Image.webm

Thanks for the help Anon.

actually this is shitty.. takes a long time to convert and the file sizes aren't great.. sometimes it even makes things larger
was just going off some of this site's info:

Use -b:v 1M -crf 15 or something
