>python isn't a bad programming language because it simplifies things and allows extensive importing. It's actually a great programing language because of these things
>it is the proper progression of technology to be able to complete a task in a more simplified manner
>just like creating C so we don't have to use assembly, and creating assembly so we don't have to physically program, and creating programming and automation in general so we don't have to do things manually, ...
>using a more complex language in protest doesn't make you smarter, it makes you more resistant to change
>you should learn the more complex ones for the sake of learning, not for actual use (with the exception of common enterprise languages such as Java and C#)
>the real problems with python are only that it's interpreted (which is remedied with compiled python), and that newcomers who use the language may be encouraged to just import everything as a solution without gaining a deeper understanding of why they are importing something or how the library they import from works and how they can build on it if any pieces they need are missing (which is remedied by that user not being an idiot)

No.

Encryption prevents third parties and WhatsApp from having plaintext access to messages or calls. What’s more, even if encryption keys from a user’s device are ever physically compromised, they cannot be used to go back in time to decrypt previously transmitted messages.
>>
>>58288720

Those working in marketing do.

I don't want spam.

and you know the companies do this how? because they say they do - the NSA can literally, legally order a company to lie about not being able to read users messages
>What’s more, even if encryption keys from a user’s device are ever physically compromised, they cannot be used to go back in time to decrypt previously transmitted messages.
name one algorithm in which a message can only be decrypted once
>>58289216
>Nope. I say nigger, but that's covered under free speech, and it's not like I'm doing any of that on company computers.
ok start posting the word nigger on facebook and using it casually and see how long you're employed for

No, they work with statistics provided by analytics.

If anything, Gmail has been filtering spam with 99,9% accuracy for the last 5 years, you should try it sometime.

>messages or calls
Oh, so you think google wouldn't give up everything they have on you, is that it? You think your ISP wouldn't hand over logs of all your activity on the internet.

You cannot expect encryption to stop this because your data must be decrypted at some point and you have no real control over the individuals who have access to the data at that point. Even if the larger entity itself (google) has no intention of giving your data away, there is little to stop corrupt individuals (google employees) from abusing their access. This applies to any and all groups that are amassing data on you for national security, marketing, market analysis, etc. By the way, it's already known that these companies themselves already peddle dossiers on individuals, nevermind individuals trying to blackmail you.
>>
>>58289282
the snowden movie and the snowden leaks or just google it also this is literally what the government tried doing with lavabit, making him backdoor the encryption and giving him a gag order to prevent him from being able to let users know third parties can read users emails
>>
>>58289249
Why would I do that? That would be me purposefully ruining my social status instead of being blackmailed.

There is a difference between me being an asshole in public and my employer receiving notice that I do certain things in my spare time off the clock. One ruins the image of the company publicly since the assumption is that I will also extend my actions into the corporate environment, the other is just my employer finding out I have thoughts which differ from the corporate statement, but I'm willing to keep my mouth shut and do what I need to do during work hours.

Yeah, someone who actually matters. He has more protection than you do. Perhaps you're unaware of how easy it is to fire someone for arbitrary reasons. You might not even know it's because you looked at a bunch of tranny porn on the internet.

>>58289324
You said "literally, legally" - there must be a law, act, bill? Can you point me at it? I'm not supposed to make a research every time someone makes a statement. You should be able to support your point of view, until then it's an opinion, not a fact.

It's collected for marketing and product development. You'd be more at risk of someone you know reading leaked information from the company and using that information as leverage over you than the company itself doing anything heinous to you.
