Only took me three years after graduating highschool to be interested in college, wondering if you know of any Universities that have online-only Tech Degrees
>>58282144
university of american samoa
enjoy virtual group work
>>58282144
Google that shit and maybe get an Associate degree with transfer just in case.
>>58282217
just googling gives me every result, I'm using /g/ to find the ones people would actually recommend.
Where do you work /g/? How much money do you make?
>>58282131
Work on binary trading algorithms with my father to trade on the futures market.
From home.
100-300k really depends.
I make $10/hour stocking groceries at Walmart.
>>58282131
in my basement
2 hotpockets per day
How much do you /g/ cucks make?
I'm a new web dev and need some inspiration.
110k + stocks in the Bay Area as backend engineer
But I fucking hate the cost of living and liberal smugness.
>>58282128
man I'd lick every inch of her skins.
$0. I've been unemployed for 5 years.
Alot of certain PC's at my job use windows 7 embedded.
question....
what are the disadvantages of this? Seems like its just windows 7 without botnet.
>>58282063
Certain "PC"?!
Unless it is a CNC controller, cash register, game arcade, kiosk or some other form of restricted device, it is unlikely they run WTPC,WES7 or WEPOS7
Also WES7 best Windows
>>58282282
wow that looks like poop
>>58282291
So does your face, retard.
what's a good text book to start learning python? I'm a complete noob when it comes to programming and i wanna start now. any free pdf's out there? textbooks? whatever else there is to help?
Go to reddit and read their wiki. /g/ will just tell you to fuck off and that your language a shit.
Learn Python the Hard Way
>>58281994
Yeah desu, not necessarily the reddit part, but here everyone is just going to make you doubt about what language to start with.
>>58282044
This one is pretty good I think, you could also check YouTube
ITT: Efficient, ergonomic, or clever tech design. Here are three I love, of which the drive dock and cable I own.

Those benchmarks are irrelevant.
Try userbenchmark.
Hello guys,
since this website is heavily focused around memes and it's legacy is to put brand new memes on the internet to keep everyone entertained, I'd like to start a brand new general thread in 2017.
Let's share some of the most awesome tech memes here. Afterwards we can spread them everywhere and get epic laffs going!
I'll start off with some real classic meme. Maybe some of our new companions don't know that one yet.
Have fun sharing :-)
Forced generals are the best meme of 2016.
>>58281889
pardon?
This one is not forced at all. It was just a matter of time that one of our great men on here does a general where we can collect all those great memes which get produced on this great website.

How much does a No*tr*e.*m account go on the black/gray market? I made around 50-75 accounts during their open signup. Wondering if I should sell now (and invest in Apollo) or wait for them to rise in value.
Im planing on doing this
50 NoStream -> 10 Apollo -> 1 PTH
the other 25 saved as an investment
xth for im running out of creative ways of saying AB is cabal.
finally! a non-hook op!
noice!
I live in an old building with no wired ethernet. My laptop's WiFi connects and I get like 1 mb/s, really shitty.
If I bought a super long range router and then bridged it to my laptop via ethernet, would this improve my speeds? Or is there no such thing as a "longer range" router?
>>58281752
A router would only be able to retransmit the signal from your laptop, so it wouldn't do shit
The best you could do would be to put a signal booster somewhere between the router they're using and yourself, although it probably wouldn't do much
>>58281752
Same situation here.
I bought a pair of powerline adapters.
Speeds doubled, ping times halved.
>>58281864
ive looked into these but they wouldnt work for my situation due to the original router being on a different floor behind a locked room
>>58281853
by signal booster you mean a wifi range extender? reading the /g/ archives I see the netgear ex7300 recommended alot, it seems like I could stick that in my apartment somewhere and then wire it to my desktop / laptop
Does anyone know what this part is, or ideally where a PDF datasheet can be found?
The best I can tell is:
> ST Microelectronics
> G22004-1
AliExpress shows some very similar-looking parts, so I imagine my transcription is correct, but I can't find a datasheet that actually matches it.
Clipper chip confirmed
>>58281634
Cheap Chinese MCU like I thought. Can't find a datasheet, you're on your own for that.
I'm on Windows 8.1 on my gaming laptop.
Should I upgrade to Windows 10, is it worth it?
Are there advantages to it?
What's the difference?
>>58281610
upgrade to windows 10
then illegally download a windows 7 iso
create a textfile called fight the power
install win7
the obvious advantage of this is of course that you will be spied on and thus m$ will know that you have just made a deadly blow against their monopolistic powerstructure
>>58281629
The reason I kept 8.1 is exactly the Telemetry spy protocol, but then I had to block some updates and make sure they won't spy... I figure I can do the same with Win10
>>58281610
>gaming laptop
windows 7 is better than both of them.
>Running apt-get upgrade can break your Linux Mint install
But Linux Mint already is an Ubutnu/Debian frankenstein by design.
>>58281613
tripfags should be gassed desu
>>58281613
They don't use any Debian packages in Mint.
and didn't build your own computers, would you buy the following box at 1200 digereedoos?
